Yeah dang, I just saw it for the first time last month. I was expecting a psychological cave thriller and was very surprised when it turned into a creature / slasher sort of deal! Great movie
I’d say there’s a bit of a psychological aspect there. The protagonist is dealing with a lot of trauma, and I’ve read the movie is sort of a metaphor for that. Which I guess I can see it!
In case you didn’t know, there’s actually two different endings!
No need for a theory, it's fact. Her seeing a baked cake with her long gone daughter showed you what she was seeing. As far as I'm concerned the screeching of the mutants was also a hallucination.
Remember being scared shitless of the dark for like a week after watching the descent. Absolute banger. glad to see the monster actors were having a good time
i wasn't scared of the dark, but i definitely knew then and there i would never be setting foot in a cave in my entire life. and that was before they even got to the monsters lol
I’ve been watching progressively scarier horror movies with my 12 y/o for the last year or so, and nothing has scared her. We just did Paranormal Activity 1-4; nothing. I had the thought the other day that it might be time for The Descent which is too scary for me! (Mostly on account of the claustrophobia)
This looks like AI, tbh. Why do they need a manicure in the middle of the shooting process? And if this is for the movie - why do actors do it themselves?
Perfect timing on this lol, I just watched this a few days ago. Such a good movie imo!

Fan Theory. Sarah is the killer

I've been meaning for a re watch with the new info to watch it "differently"
What a twist.
Definitely puts a spin on the sequel if that's true
Do yourself a favor and skip the sequel. Absolutely wasted 1 hour and 34 minutes of life watching that dog ass of a movie.
I can't remember why it was bad, but I remember it being quite bad.
Trauma does that. It was so awfully made that your brain decided to recycle those Neurons.
Well done brain.
The ending doesn't make sense. There is no motive for the last 2 minutes of the film.
I remember I was still working at Blockbuster Video when it came out.
When I saw in Fangoria magazine that it wasnt the same director as the first film I was like "oh no. here we go."
Went in expecting it to be mid. Wound up getting garbage. What a shame cause the original film is such a well made well paced horror movie.
Such is usually the case with horror movies lol!
Reminds me of the video game The Forest
I love The Forest so much!
I just saw Part 2 for the first time. No idea about the ending... Good monsters tho.
Could you see the actors wonderful cuticles?
I thought so too!
Me too!

Shit, I've been in a bunch of caves and it was freaky even before the monsters showed up.
Tool music videos be like:
Saw this in a packed theater. The first creature reveal was the loudest collective "gasp" I've ever heard. Excellent movie.
the human actors didn't see the creature actors at all until they were filming those scenes. their reactions at seeing them is genuine.
Oh hell no. The way I would raise hell if someone did that to me - filming in a dark wet cave and you surprise me with a creature like that?! Hell nah
thanks for the trauma
The horror movie I recommend more than any other by a long shot.
This is just going to make my fear of manicurists worse
Maybe you could sit upside down in the chair and pretend you're getting a pedicure.
🤣
🙃👎

They’re actually quite civilized. They just hate trespassers.
Still one of the best horror movies ive ever seen. Need to rewatch it, been a while.
Who let's the Falmers out?
Oh hey I had a birthday dream about these guys
Listen, even Gollum needs to take care of his nails, alright

Really good movie tbh
This is Trixie and Katya out of drag
So terrify
Haha thats awesome.
Reminds of that one scene in Conker’s Bad Fur Day when the Tediz are out of character
My favorite blooper is when they all sing About Ping Pong balls
Fuck the rope bag
Might be my favorite horror movie
Oh shit it’s on Amazon Prime for free, too. I know what I’m watching today. Wonder if I should wait for it to get dark out.
such a banger, hope there's more that have the same premise
Falmer
This is a good movie i watched it recently
Probably the horror movie series that scares me the most. Funny to see it demystified a bit lol

I thought the same too, but it has been posted pre convincing Ai.
