Delivery driver dropping off 5 pallets to the front of the store goes round back to do a u-turn and drives over wet grass after heavy rainfall, proceeds to get stuck
I'm lousy at reversing. But not by a magnitude as lousy as this driver. Lots of space available. Let's hope it was some summer worker during school summer break. Because if it was a "professional" driver...
Driving big trucks isn't easy. You should have seen all the stupid things people did in CDL school. Anyway, it's a learning experience, and in this case, at least it's just some wasted time and money to get the truck out of the mud. No one got hurt or killed, and it wasn't terribly expensive!
I once got my car stuck in mud. I learned from it, and I'll probably never do it again.
Had a brand-new UPS driver do this at our place out in the country after a big downpour. Went off the concrete carport apron and immediately went axel deep in the mud. Had to get a neighbor to bring his tractor and pull him out
We live out in the country. It was grass/weeds that flooded under every heavy rain, not really a lawn. The driver was out alone for the first time. Knowing UPS monitors everything, including gear positions, he was afraid he'd be fired. If we'd have been asked we'd have told UPS that it wasn't a problem and wasn't his fault because it was dark and you can't see how soggy that ground is.
Why would you make a baiting comment like you did? Those details would have been more helpful than "do this" that makes it sound like he did something lazy and stupid like the original post...

With all that space, cmon!
Yep. He deserved that
Trying to do too much too quickly. Take a little extra time to do it right! Wonder how much money he lost for that time stuck in the mud...
Indeed. Had every opportunity to do all the maneuvering he needed on the blacktop.
But they saved 10 seconds by not backing again!
Infected with Tiktok brain
I think he got spooked by the tree branches brushing the back of the van
Wouldn't a 5 point turn have been so much easier?
All they had to do was back up another 10 feet.
I guess they were worried about the tree?
they should have worried about learning how to drive.
The three point turn was entirely possible and anyone who cant do one in that amount of space should not have gotten his licence
Pure. Laziness. Bro one more turn and you had that.
Bruh why would he even try to take that route lol theres so much room
What a turd. Who drives on grass. Let alone wet grass with a box truck.

Had plenty of room, that’s disgraceful driving.
Serves him right. There was a tonne of room to do the turn without touching grass and this dipshit decides to try and tear up the grass anyway.
Idk how this person was able to get behind the wheel in the first place. Stop handing out cdl’s
This was so easily prevented
Cats aren't supposed to drive trucks!!

Did UPS cover the damages to your lawn?

Should have just left him there. His problem, not yours.
He was just trying to do his job, was new at it, and worried about being fired. Why wouldn't we help him out?

Horrible box truck driver.
Lesson: Don't drive anything that rhymes with stuck.
That's fine, as long as you keep saying things that rhyme with stuck.
🎶🎶🎶“I remember runnin’ through the wet grass, falling a step behind!” 🎶🎶🎶
Should’ve added some more points.
literally all he had to do to avoid this was back up a bit more...smh
Dude clearly can’t drive
He deserved that cause he was too lazy/inconsiderate to back up on more time to avoid the grass.
Wonder if he was vegetarian…
You can’t park there
All of those empty space and he choose to drive on top of the wet grass. You can't fix stupid.
Bro deserves that, stay on the pavement
Good to see they have to stay and deal with the consequences. Instead of someone just finding random ruts in their grass.
Ive watched a fire hydrant be ran over and a utility pole be snapped in half at my work place thos year lol.

Damn i really thought "there's no way u can mess this up"! Then he kept going towards the grass...... honestly he deserved that
Totally, he didn't need to go on the grass at all.
Oi! You can't park there!
