I think this one is embellished, honestly, but mostly happened. Gave a ride to one of my dad's foster kids a couple of years ago, and they were very concerned as to why I kept moving the shifter about.

I think this happened but the girl was lying about being a mechanic ,or the op exaggerated to make them sound stupider.
Idk. Not saying this happened to this guy, but there are definitely people who are that stupid and lie that much
