I realize how ignorant I am of his history and didn't realize he had a military record; pardon. But I feel terrible for him if he was hazed.
I also feel empathy for him that he was selected at a vulnerable time. He certainly had access to tools and pathways to manage that but it doesn't offset the way that he was picked; it just doesn't sit well with me.
I hope to see us all with a different outcome, including him.
