I'm only asking because, to me, Jared said he's working on a new logo for Zootopia 3 and has done some sketches, but that's far from confirming that they're starting work on a new film. In other words, he said, "I'm designing a new logo." I'm very anxious and don't want to create false expectations.
2 made too much money for them not to make number 3. Of course they had the post credit scene so I think it will definitely happen, it's just a question of when.

Moana 2 wasn't well received but made 1 billion in the box office, they never said anything about a third movie even with a tease in the end, like Z2.
Moana 2 was and is a very particular situation. It was originally planned as a TV show, then was reworked into a movie, which was then critically panned.
Z2, on the other hand, has become a full blown cultural phenomenon that I don't even think Disney anticipated.
If Jared Bush had already come up with a general idea, and his son wants him to cast Keanu Reeves for a role, I don't see it not happening.
It seems like Jared is working on it a third one already, whether or not disney has officially greenlit it yet remains to be seen but they’d be foolish not to.
If the CCO is looking into ideas for a third film, I think it’ll be green lit soon.
I will say, it's very likely been internally confirmed, but it is not in production, I'm guessing it won't enter full production for another 2 years or so. Right now Moana 2 I believe is in post production, and Hexed I believe is in pre production. Frozen 3 is right in the middle of production. So I'm guessing we see it around 2029 or 2030.

Yes, there was the password easter egg that directly confirmed a Part 3 is coming. Also, Jared Bush and Byron Howard recently said in an interview that they're in the idea stage of the film which is the first 2-3 years of a 5-year production cycle + that they intend to not wait another 9 years for a new one. 2029-2030 is sounding like a good guess atp

D23 next year is the most optimistic view for new content.
I’m guessing around 2029 or 2030 for it to come out. 2029 is the Year of the Rooster so it is fitting just like how Z2 came out the Year of the Snake.
