I want to personally thank the listing agent for not virtually staging it, and especially for not photoshopping a fire into every fireplace in the house.
Are you asking about the lighter colored spots? If so, that's likely where furniture was. The floor can easily be cleaned up. Resurfacing isn't that difficult.
I was thinking furniture. stains at first as well, but then it looks like those odd areas are raised? It must be a weird optical illusion. Makes no sense.

Or a big screen tv with Paramount on the screen.
How many minutes before every friend you ever had is sick to fucking death of hearing about how your great room was made from a century old log church
Hey, did you know my great room was made from a century old log church? Wanna see a photo?
Let us retire to the century old log church…otherwise known as the living room?
The parishioners and the pastor are still furious about it but we just think it looks so good in our house
No pictures of the kitchen?
Or the other 4 bathrooms?
Very suspicious....
The bidet is a repurposed baptismal fountain.
It's interesting. I like it.
No kitchen and only 1 bathroom picture, but several shots of open lawn? Sus.
The no kitchen is a big pet peeve of mine. Both the inside and outside shots were repetitive. Just ONE kitchen photo please?
Out of 63 pics 35 are outside.
I feel like the things I can see in the floor here would make me stumble over them. Or is it an optiocal illusion?

Yeah they don't look raised to me. They just have a dirty outline.
Ah, yes, now I can envision that it was some sort of heavy round wood table at that spot to make those shapes.
That, or even a pool table. You can see two other spots a little further, though they're a little more obscured.
I thought the same thing. I can see it now though.
Nice, I'd only change the wallpaper.
Wow! That's some fugly wallpaper!
It’s got great bones.
What time is the hoe down?
This has incredible potential, and only a few things need to be updated.
And they still have the slaves’ quarters out back. How quaint!
This house was built in 1975, it's a little too new for something like that on the property.
Is that what that is? I thought it was a fancy shed.
