whyyy is there a bed in the bathroom? I checked the description and there are FIVE bathrooms, and five bedrooms. Is it that the owner was very elderly and decided to move in to the downstairs bathroom? Wouldn't you move the bed out for the viewings? Make it make sense ...
Welcome to real estate in the Lehigh Valley. If your neighbor’s brand new custom home with quality materials sold for $200/sq. ft, then your original home built in 1962 with no updates and needing a total renovation is also worth $200/sq. ft. Everything here gets listed at top dollar.
I'm guessing it is related to aging in place or illness or both.
Some people do end up moving commodes into their sleeping quarters at a certain point, if it's not easy for them to get from the bed to the toilet... I assume this person just decided to cut out the middleman of the commode and set up a bed in a bath big enough for it.
It probably does allow a higher modicum of independence if mobility is low. Plus, nobody has to empty a commode.
Always wanted to watch Netflix while showering in the same room as my bed
And taking a dump four feet from your bed.

That explains everything.
I can't believe this dufus wants more than 3/4 of a million dollars for his eyesore...
Is he in his bathrobe?
And slippers
Marc Rebillet? 😁
just cause you put a bed in it, don't make it a bedroom

Might be a Pittsburgh Toilet.
There are a few guesses as to why these are found like that:
Is no one going to address the toilet in the bedroom?!?!?
Seriously that was my first of many questions
I think someone need to be addressing why there is a bed in the bathroom.
$765 still seems high, doesn’t it?

Sorry, I missed the wagon wheels initially
Selling tip; Close the toilet lid when trying to sell a house.
If the toilet is in the bedroom then all normal rules of courtesy are void.

All of it! Why?
Knock off 100k for all the renovations that absolutely need to be done asap, and it’s a steal.
Why is there like 4 types of outdoor fence railing around that weird stone slab staircase?
Just hideous. Truly hate those drop tile ceilings.
I dunno, I consider that less a time capsule and more a fucking dump.

Is this a bed in the bathroom or a toilet in the bedroom?
when you think you know what ensuite is, but you don't.
Hardly a time capsule...well maybe of bad decisions 🤷♀️
Oh hey, my childhood basement. Our shag was red, though. Bright, bright red. Really sold the floor is lava.
They need to put this time capsule back in the hole.
Looks like they took some double wides, smooshed them together and put a second story on.
I'm not familiar with the area but almost $800k for that dumpy, weird house seems like a lot to me.
The bed in the bathroom with the toilet right next to it is extra gross.
The lazy guy in me appreciates the toilet next to the bed. If I angle it right, I might not even need to get out of bed…
I used to live somewhere that had a toilet right next to my bed. Luckily, I was able to get out a couple years early due to good behavior.
It comes in damn handy if you are morbidly obese.
Love the staircase
What the hell is happening in pic 4????

Ohhh you're probably right, I didn't see the chains on the dresser knobs so that they're easier to open. Thanks, I never would have figured that out.
Good thing they have some Poo-pourri since they drop wolf bait right next to their bed.
This exactly

Pic #4, someone really tried to improve upon Pittsburgh Potties.
$10k taxes on $133k taxable value?
