Some newborns are so sleepy that they do need to be woken up to be fed. Sometimes older babies that stick to a daily schedule need to be woken up to not screw up their night sleep.
Sticks until ten years, at least with my experience. If 13 dozes off on a weekend nap, you better believe I’m waking his ass up before he runs his night. I love him, but he’s a bit of a jerk if he doesn’t sleep well at night.
Sorry for not knowing every video ever posted to the internet. I don't spend much time scrolling through baby videos, strangely. As for "why would it be AI" for the same reason every other AI video is created - who the fuck knows. Engagement and money I guess.
If they can't roll on their own then it is not recommended to let them sleep on their bellies. Once they start rolling and can get on their back and front alone it's fine, at that point they can lift their heads on their own and not suffocate themselves in a corner or on their mattress or whatever.
This baby is lifting their head and laughing and very alert so I assume they are old enough that they are sleeping safely on their stomach.
The current recommendations for baby sleep is ABC: Alone (nothing in bed with them) Back (place them on their back) and Crib (always in a crib/bassinet and not an adult bed or nest.)
That said it also depends. My first daughter had inhuman strength when she was born and so immediately rolled over and slept on her stomach. Not amount of us correcting her could keep her in place. Our pediatrician said it was fine because she was putting herself in that position so she could get herself out of it.
My second daughter is rolling over now at 4 months and she’s a side sleeper so it really just depends on the situation.
And it was dangerous to let a baby sleep on their back too as they may vomit and choke on it, as I heard when my little brother was a baby. So, don't leave them on their stomach, don't leave them on their back. I will stick with Option C and have no babies.
I've always read that yes it's much safer for very young infants to be on their back than the belly. It would be a good question for your local OB department.
I remember our son waking up as a baby and immediately smiling when he saw us. He would sleep in the bed between us, and if he wasn't awake in the morning, my wife would softly run her finger down his cheek or across his brow. Man, it was the cutest thing to watch him wake up, see us, and burst into this huge smile.
This vid was a great reminder of that memory, he's 33 now.
God so many people just love to throw out “it’s AI!” Without a single neuron in their brain activating. This video is like 10 years old, it’s not ai you’re just morons that like to ruin things.
Yall obviously have zero experience with kids to think this is ai. Babies face is spot on for the age and situation. Ai ain’t this good yet. Not to mention the pixels lmao. Can almost feel your screen like braille.
I saw a video a few weeks ago of what looked like a preschool aged girl cuddling with a dog that looked pretty AI-her face was so uncanny. This is 100% a very cute and real baby

I have raised a couple of children and can honestly say I can't remember ever having the need to wake them up as a baby?

Cute
Like a little cherub.
Das a certified Gerber baby right there
My heart! Hat was adorable!
Already on planning to do this with my 1 year old niece cause I’m the cool aunt
Amazing....all the best to you
I hate that I spent 2mins assessing if I thought this was AI. Just the world we live in now!
I understand you, I too am astonished sometimes.
This is like a decade old. Why would it be AI

I worded my questions wrong. I meant “what makes you think it’s AI” nothing stood out to me.
You didn’t worded wrong, you were being a jerk and did a 180• because you seem afraid of some downvotes.
Fixed for you
We could go out on a limb and guess that they haven't seen it before since they asked the question in the first place
I guess I’m asking what part of the video seems like AI
At this point, it doesn't need to have tells to potentially be AI, which sucks.
Exactly man. You’re lucky if there are tells.
The eyes, the feet and the dad’s bellybutton areas at the beginning
He has had some serious weight loss, the eyes and feet thing I don’t understand. This is absolutely not AI though lol.
"What makes you think it's AI"? is the wrong question
Assume it is AI before reasonably determining that it isn't.
Unless I’m 100% sure it isn’t because i saw it half a decade or more ago lol.
Kids love that. I used to do the Airplane with my nephews, literally hold them sideways like an airplane and simulate flying around the house.
Now they're all big and heavy to pickup with just 2 forearms and "fly" around the house lol.
I remember the time I got woken up with a glass of cold water to the face. Good times.
Isn't it dangerous to leave a baby sleep on their belly?
Why am I being downvoted? I heard it before and I'm genuinely asking.

Under 1 year old yes
No

The kid was already awake

Looks like the baby from IT.
How did the baby type and post this?
HowToDad has a new baby?

Untill it tumbles out and breaks its neck.
Butterfly in the dirt You look like you might be hurt

AI is this good, and resolution can be manipulated. I know it's not AI, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Little thing but he had the lyric order wrong. It's:
"Take a look, it's in a book"
Otherwise very cute
Ai vibes
