Think parents are right there otherwise he would have. Also I think that's his sister so punishment would be more severe.
Like I could smack my brother right in front of my dad and he just yelled us knock it off and separate us if need be. I made the mistake of hitting my sister in front of him once.... Never did that shit again
I have identical twin uncles, the things they did when they were young are criminal.
We work together in the same company, one works in the first floor the other in the second, you should see the surprise on the face of every new person that comes here.
I work with my brother and we aren’t twins and it’s pretty interesting. Some people can tell right away that we’re brothers. Others are shocked when they find out.
My sister and I are more than 4 years apart, at the end of college for me and her beginning of college people that saw us together called us twins, non identical twins, when we informed them that one was older they always guessed at her being 1 year older. I was older more than 4 years, it was hilarious.
That sometimes happens to me despite being two years younger. I have a more reserved personality and he’s more jovial, so sometimes I get perceived as older.
Same here, but I’m younger by five years. Not fun to be perceived as “the older one” now, but it was fun in our childhood and teen years. I’ve got her by 5” in height, so I tell myself that’s why they think I’m older…..has nothing to do with my nonexistent skincare routine.
I went to the club with a buddy of mine and happened to run into my actual brother so I told my friend “this is my brother” and my friends like “hey; I’m his brother too!” Lol.
My brother and I attended the same high school at the same time. We had some of the same friends, but hung out separately. It was always hilarious when I'd blow their minds and tell them we were brothers. They couldn't believe how different we were.
Two of my employees at our family business are identical twins.
My husband, who doesn't handle the day to day, took a month to realize even though he was covering the desk for me the day of the week they were both scheduled.
One day he text me about why twin 1 wasn't teaching her class and just hanging out. But her class had been called back so obviously someone was teaching it. I was like "you realize she's a twin right?" and her twin would've been done at that point of the evening. I got the "... Nvm" text shortly after.
He should feel better, we have a coach who helps with one of our teams who didn't realize we had identical twins on the team. It took our tumbling coach correcting the wrong twin for something the other twin did and then apologizing when she realized her error and the other coach was like.. Wait what?
I don't think my daughter and I look that close but one customer did do a jump scare when she was talking to my daughter and I walked up behind her. Apparently in all the time she had been coming she thought my daughter and I were the same person.
No, when you are prepared for them you can tell them apart. When I'm not prepared, or at a quick glance, Ill mix them up. Usually just mentally, so that they aren't aware I thought one was the other, but they are used to it I'm sure if it slips out.
I think the worse I did was on picture day. They coach two different teams but we had a group staff picture. I had talked to twin 1 already and then when we gathered up to take the coach picture twin 2 was in front of me but I hadn't seen her come in so I went "wait is your sister here?" thinking I was talking to Twin 1. From down the line twin 1 went "I'm here!" and once I saw her I knew I was talking to Twin 2, but like the moment before I couldn't tell.
The identical twins athletes we have are similar. I was talking to one and I knew which one it was, but earlier I had seen one slip on ice outside but didn't know which one fell. As long as your brain is primed you know the difference, even if you can't describe the difference. You get used to the minor details like personality and preference.
My grandma is an identical twin. When I was little, maybe 6 years old, I had just woken up after spending the night at her house. I walked into the kitchen to get breakfast and called out to my grandma who was at the kitchen table. She smiled and said “Well hello there! Who are you?” And I immediately started crying because I thought my grandma had forgotten who I was. Then my actual grandma entered the room and all of a sudden there were two grandmas and I cried even more, I think out of confusion. Then my actual grandma, the one who had just entered the room, explained to me that the original person with whom I had spoken was her twin sister. I calmed down but was still pretty confused at the time, because my mom is a twin but she and her twin are very easy to tell apart (fraternal twins) so the concept of identical twins was brand new to me.
When I worked managing bars, often times on busy nights we’d have a Sheriff Deputy or two come help us out with security towards the end of the night.
One of my regular deputies has an identical twin brother, who, wouldn’t you know it, is also in law enforcement as a Highway Patrol Trooper.
He told me they radioed each other on duty frequently and if they happened to be in the same area and bored as hell sometimes each of them would pull over the same car 😂 first one would do the whole schtick of lemme have your insurance and what not but when the 2nd one would pull them over it would just be something goofy like “Hey you’ve got a light out I just wanted to let you know!”
He said the looks sometimes (the uniforms were very different colors back then) people must have thought they were in the Twilight Zone
We had a guy in our class who had a twin in the same college but the guy was an introvert and hadn't told anyone about it. The twin was in computer science whereas we were in chemistry..
He had a group project with my best friend and they were supposed to meet at the library for the project discussion but he didn't show up.
While going home when my best friend saw this guy and ran behind him to ask why he didn't show up, only for the guy to deny knowing us and telling us his name and that we must be his brother's classmates.. We really did not believe him, until he showed us his id card..
I got hired on by a guy named zone at my job, turned out he also had a twin brother that worked there, only his name was also zone. I honestly couldn’t tell if people were messing with me or not for a couple of months until I finally saw them together.
My dad was an identical twin. He was better at basketball, so when my dad would have too many fouls in the first half, they would switch Jerseys at half time. You've got to keep the same hair cuts.
I have twin cousins that routinely swap styles. Cousin A has a mustache and Cousin B doesn’t, I don’t see them for 4 months, then they switch who had what.
Haha my sister and I used to look quite a bit alike, less than 2 years between us, but when we were around 10/11, we looked nearly identical, except she wore glasses, we would regularly trick people by me wearing her glasses, only friends and family could tell us apart even when we "switched".
Total identity crisis. My sisters on the other hand HATED being identical and colored their hair the moment they were allowed so they could have completely different styles. People still mix up which is which though.
Yeah, grew up with classmates that were twins, they HATED being treated as 2 halves of a set - parents literally made them wear matching clothes and shit to school up until middle school, teachers made it worse by consistently assigning them as partners and stuff if they were in the same class. As soon as they had the option they diverged in terms of fashion and self-expression just about as much as possible, and avoided one another as much as they could.
Aww.. he looks genuinely kinda hurt there at the end.
It’s not just about mischief, some twins are really close and feel left out or offended when they’re other half does something so drastic without them.
I know.. I dated a pair of twins. One of them stabbed me with a hot glue gun. Still have the scar on my hand. Whitney you psycho… if you’re reading this I DID like Lindsey better! Because she didn’t stab me! Dang.
Anyway, the point is that young twins typically lean on their twin for part of their own identity… it’s not healthy but they’re kids. It feels special being a part of a pair and molding each other and growing together… so when they start to grow apart it can hurt, especially if one grows apart sooner or faster. It must feel like being left behind by part of yourself.
They both asked me to a dance and I said that they both asked and I didn’t really wanna go, and I didn’t want to choose. So they talked among themselves and said that they’d both be my date if I agreed to go. So I did. We had a great time together at the dance as a threesome and being teenagers the girls both really liked the attention and I can’t lie, I liked that the guys were jealous that I was with both twins, cheerleaders who everyone liked… lol
After the dance we kept hanging out and eventually the girls made me agree that anything I did with one, I had to do with both. They had never made out before, so I had to make out with both of them. lol
This carried on for months, the girls getting competitive and trying to one-up each other.
I’d wait by the basketball court for them every morning and walk with Whitney on my right, Lindsey on my left. I’d walk them to class, kiss them each… etc. we sat together at lunch.. everything.
Anything more than light makeouts were separate. They had their own separate bedrooms where we would.. interact..
Eventually when we got a bit more serious, we decided to have separate days on occasion to have privacy and just get to know each other better and not as a group.
This went on for another few months… I think we dated for like 6-7 months total.
The hand stabbing was because I got to school late, saw one of them from behind for the first time that day and she was sitting in a chair with Lindsey’s purple backpack.
So I came up behind her, put my hand on her desk and leaned over to kiss her cheek and said “Hey Lins..” and it was Whitney who happened to be using a hot glue gun to make crap for a cheer rally thing.. she jabbed me with the hot glue gun and went “You seriously can’t tell us apart by now?!” and after I explained, she felt really bad.. especially when she saw the huge hole full of melted glue in the back of my hand… that was unrelated to our breakup though.
I was moving back to Jamaica for a while and we agreed that long distance wouldn’t work and we broke up on pretty good terms. Whenever I visited we hung out and stuff.
All in all I’d say that it was among my better relationships. One of my longest too from when I was younger.
So yeah… I’m not a creep or cheater or anything.
Just teenagers trying to have fun and we kinda took the joke so far that it became real. lol
Very interesting! As a twin this grosses me out to the extreme but then I realize my sister and I basically think her kids are my kids. I have 0% interest in her husband but those kids are mine, damnit!
I thought i was getting shitymorphed for a minute but nope, just a reminder that people are out here living lives others could only dream of in 9th grade.
Holy shit. So did that ruin you for life? How do you date just one girl afterwards? Seriously, as a ninth grader that had to have some effect on your emotional development.
I had girlfriends before them, and girlfriends after. It’s no big deal. If anything it’s easier dating one person, especially teenage girls… as a dumb teen boy you have to be very careful to not seemingly take favorites, or mix them up or accidentally text the wrong one.. also, it was just tiring sometimes!
I did boxing and mma and sometimes I’d be just tired and they’d want to hang out, and I have to give two separate people my full attention. I know it sounds great, but it’s kind of stressful, exhausting mentally, emotionally and physically and it got difficult trying to balance the emotional well being of two teenage girls. I doubt it would be much easier now as an adult though…
Also, I rode a motorcycle… a ninja 250 so I had to rely on my mom or sisters for rides places because there’s no way I was taking girls on the back of my bike. Hell no. I’m not that reckless, even at 14 or whatever…
But no. To answer your question… no.
I’ve had friends with benefits and casual relationships since then though that ended up in similar situations and it helped having a history. I knew how to approach the subject and balance seeing multiple women openly and honestly without hurting anyone. So if anything I’d say it helped me to be better at dating and casual hookups I guess…
Just last year I ended up casually seeing two girls who lived together, roommates.. lol
I stayed over with one girl, and the next day she asked if I could help her with a few things like hanging a tv, building some furniture.. basic stuff. But she had to go to work so I stayed and her roommate was home, we hung out all day, clicked, hung out in the pool and when the first girl got home that night they discussed it between themselves and agreed they both want to focus on work and education, and I could pop by to be the “booty call husband” to cook, clean, do my “husbandly duties” and hang out for movie night, cuddle, basic shit… I’d say that my past gave me the experience I needed to balance that situation in a healthy way. We had fun, no one caught feelings and when that relationship was no longer sustainable we parted on good terms and still talk sometimes. They had a dog that fell into the pool and had explosive diarrhea lmao it turned the whole pool brown… it panicked and started Hershey squirting like crazy… poo bubbles! It was insane.
Completely unrelated, I just thought I’d share.
I’ve never seen a dog shart in a pool before. It was hilarious and disgusting.
Siblings, especially twins, at that age do have an assumption that everything their sibling does, they need to do too. He must have thought he had to shave his head as well.
I know every situation is unique, but was it common for you and your twin to intentionally match? At least when you were younger. Twins and their strong connections are fascinating.
He has to figure out if he still wants braids or if he wants to look like his twin. They're both adolescents dealing with finding their identity, but they have an extra layer of finding their identity independent of their twin.
Recording your child in a moment of distress and posting it to the internet is a trend I would be ok with going away. He managed his emotions tightly which may be ok for his brother, but the parent needed to be helping regulate him through those big feelings instead of using it for internet points.
This reminds me of my twin and me, and every set of twins I’ve ever met. There’s always one who is domineering, and one who is passive/submissive. The way the long-haired boy is pushing him around, grabbing his head, smacking him w the rag, and the other one just allows it. Feels like home!
Poor kid was having a second-hand identity crisis 😆 Imagine every time you look at your bro it’s like looking in a mirror, but he comes home with no hair — I imagine the kid feels like his own hair is gone lol

The little one swooping in to take over the console when bros are distracted cracks me up. Locked in on the opportunity
“KC stop, you already had your turn!” Can relate as an older brother
surprisingly tame response, actually. My older brother would have started punching right out the gate.
Especially when he might be slightly emotional over his brother's hair.
Pretty impressive
He's contemplating cutting his own hair I bet. They were wombmates after all.
"So anyway, I started punching."
Think parents are right there otherwise he would have. Also I think that's his sister so punishment would be more severe.
Like I could smack my brother right in front of my dad and he just yelled us knock it off and separate us if need be. I made the mistake of hitting my sister in front of him once.... Never did that shit again
mine would tip me out the chair and punch me
I’m a triplet and I have two older brothers. The console wars had a different meaning in the late 90s and 2000s at our house.
My turn my turn my turn https://youtu.be/vvk5eN9wzgI?si=exHPzrPkTS___tcd
after he played for like 3 min
Can't get kicked from the match for AFK
The thought process too. “What happened? Oh, that sucks for long hair bro. This doesn’t really concern me. Oh shit! My turn to play!”
Such a younger sibling pov lol
found all the younger siblings in the thread
Certified little bro moment
I guess a benefit of having an identical twin is that you can check on him if a style could suit you
Omg thanks for suggestion hahaha
Now everyone can tell them apart, so busted!
I have identical twin uncles, the things they did when they were young are criminal.

I think in our case was I was a bit thinner and an inch shorter than her and made me look younger. Not anymore in my 40s

We have pop pop in the attic
They prob imagine this guy sprinting up or down the stairs while they take the elevator 💀
Its the same with my sister. Some people just know. I think its the beard, tho.
Oh hi you changed outfits? …and teleported?

How do colleagues even manage that thing? Like, do you have to say “which one of you am I speaking to?” to their face several times a day?
No, when you are prepared for them you can tell them apart. When I'm not prepared, or at a quick glance, Ill mix them up. Usually just mentally, so that they aren't aware I thought one was the other, but they are used to it I'm sure if it slips out.

Bro had a heist all lined up.

It’s a cruel game
Not really how it works. Hes gotta cut now lol

Well I wonder who's the original reason for their hatred then.. :')
I used to dye my hair so often I had a coworker who was convinced I had a twin sister with another hair color lol.
One should buy a pointy black hat, then you would know which is witch.
😠🥁
This reminds me of "brother may I have some oats"
Ok. So I didn't hallucinate that video then.
The video and your comment are hysterical to me. Made my day lol
Brother, may I have some oats
the shaved head looks really clean tho not gonna lie
Thanks for not lying
Thanks for appreciation
I'm grateful for your appreciation
Much appreciated
see ya later alligator, or similar

Yea that was a solid cut the kid got.
That is a nice fade, no doubt.
Do you usually lie?
New cut looks good, no notes
If the kid wanted braids I have some notes.
The fuckin rag slap my guy XD
yeah buddy should not have let that slide

Aww.. he looks genuinely kinda hurt there at the end.
It’s not just about mischief, some twins are really close and feel left out or offended when they’re other half does something so drastic without them.

Truly a testament to both of you!
Holy shit. So did that ruin you for life? How do you date just one girl afterwards? Seriously, as a ninth grader that had to have some effect on your emotional development.

Wow, this comment thread on the post turned out to be the real adventure
awesome shit man, thanks
You have led a very different life than me! Good for you, though. You sound like you’re a decent human being.
Lol yeah. Eqsy to hang around with dude. Good relationship charisma as well
lmaoo holy shit i never could have guessed how this comment would end
I’d make sure to work this into every conversation I’d ever have
My mans out here living out literal sitcom situation
We deserve answers
I didn’t understand the feelings here. Thanks for the explanation! It was helpful. Sorry about Whitney attacking your hand!
You can hear him thinking, "damn it, now I have to shave mine."
Bro is having an existential crisis
When you learn the lesson that people make their own decisions no matter how close you are
The way he pushed him against the wall. Twin brother energy in spades.
“If he’s going to do my Math exam on Monday I’m going to have shave my head..ah shit!”
My cousins are twins, they deliberately have different hairstyles to make it easier to identify them
Seems like he got over pretty quick:
“Awwww man why did you hey whoa don’t touch my game. Get out. I’m playing again.”
More like redirected his frustration, because he knows it wouldn't be cool to show he's upset with his brother's change.
I mean he do be looking like Lionel Ritchie so I think bro made right choice.
Siblings, especially twins, at that age do have an assumption that everything their sibling does, they need to do too. He must have thought he had to shave his head as well.
Good thing he got such a good look at what the back of his head would look like
Mad at his twin but has another brother who looks just like him.
Translation now I can't get in trouble anymore and blame my twin.
And their differences of preference start to show. Good for him.
this is cute and all but all I know is if someone pulls off my durag, I’m throwin’ hands 👏🏾
So this is my apex/rocket league teammate.. bros gaming with the mic and just gets up lmfao
I'm a twin, I grew my hair out, my brother cut his, I had joke threats from teachers because they werent sure they could tell us apart without it.
I grew up playing ball with some twins. I knew them for years and still had a really hard time telling them apart when they rocked the same haircut.
I know every situation is unique, but was it common for you and your twin to intentionally match? At least when you were younger. Twins and their strong connections are fascinating.
Me and my twin did intentionally match a lot when we were younger, when we were babies we had a secret language just the two of us spoke.
It wasn't until Middle school happened, bullies spread rumors we were incestuous, all of a sudden, boom...no more matching twins.
Idk man kids can be cruel.
That's fucking terrible man, I'm so sorry you went through that.
Kid looks like Rick James.
lil bro was not feeling that lol, thinking
"Robin and Brook Lopez"
Sinners vibes
Now it’s like I have to too
The camerman always cracks me up
Looking like a tiny Rick James.
Why is he reacting that way?
He has to figure out if he still wants braids or if he wants to look like his twin. They're both adolescents dealing with finding their identity, but they have an extra layer of finding their identity independent of their twin.
What a weirdly beautiful answer.
This guy twins
What an insightful yet tragic and concise assessment.
I think this was needed, neo break that unhealthy twin attachment.
i feel you curlybro.
keep loving on your locks, and your boy. twinsies head gonna feel cold and lonely when he's laying down at night. keep rocking em brosiah
Recording your child in a moment of distress and posting it to the internet is a trend I would be ok with going away. He managed his emotions tightly which may be ok for his brother, but the parent needed to be helping regulate him through those big feelings instead of using it for internet points.
Usually I would agree but I don’t think finding out your twin cut his hair is a moment of distress.
Dammit, KC!
This reminds me of my twin and me, and every set of twins I’ve ever met. There’s always one who is domineering, and one who is passive/submissive. The way the long-haired boy is pushing him around, grabbing his head, smacking him w the rag, and the other one just allows it. Feels like home!
Well it is a fresh cut.
preferred the cut than the braids ngl
Haircut looks good!
Really interesting watching a twins reaction
I’ve been friends with 3 sets of twins. They all had the same haircut.
Now we can’t use our twin powers anymore bro!
Riley and Huey
Don’t like the way he’s pushing the bro around because he’s upset, but cute I guess
Yea weirdly aggro
Definitely looks better
Why film your children, just to put them on the internet??
Looks wayyyyyy better than the mop top and they both know it
I never understood why some twins wanna look exactly the same.
The haircut looks better. He's actually handsome which I couldn't see on the one with the long hair.
Half part of him died 💔
Max twin energy
His bro needs to follow cuz that mullet is something else
Yo why does he care?
Kid with the long hair really needs that haircut fixed. Wtf is that
They can’t pull their schemes anymore if they’re not identical identical, also moms never going to mix these two up
He’s like damn I’m really gonna have to cut my hair too
I love the double take, he looks, goes back to the game, then it clicks.
Whys that window blanket so long
No tricking people who can't tell you apart anymore.
First existential crisis
Poor casey
Why does he mind that much
As a twin, I’ve never understood the desire to be the same. I was very much the opposite
Yo the immediate soft slap was suction sibling energy lmfao
It looks way better short
He looked closer like “this is the finished version of my head shaved”
Poor kid was having a second-hand identity crisis 😆 Imagine every time you look at your bro it’s like looking in a mirror, but he comes home with no hair — I imagine the kid feels like his own hair is gone lol
Cuteness overload omg he's so concerned hahaha
