The only thing I would like to see is profiles for houses. I dont really care about importing other profiles. But saving some stuff would be cool. Deleting a room to try something new, I end up not liking and wanting back the old stuff.
I may be in the minority here when I say I do have a desire to have the ability in some form to have "different" houses for characters when I have an idea in mind. Before I knew any details about how player housing was actually going to work I was hoping for a very DK/Vrykul Northrend style house just for my DK but I don't really want that for all my characters.
Personally I do hope as player housing evolves that either something like house profiles becomes a thing for players who want that or as they hopefully add more neighborhood zone maps the restriction on plots becomes one house per faction per unique zone map.
The server strain that would incite would be insane though. Like I understand wanting it, but it’s really not feasible. You’re increasing everyone’s server footprint for housing from 2 plots to an indeterminate larger number. There’s no way to account for that as far as data storage goes.
Not to mention that a ton of people would buy a ton of plots and never actually decorate the properties, making it a potentially dead investment. I know you and others would, but I don’t think that number is high enough to justify doing it.
This particular build was made by my Guildmaster Zixxel!! He has spent the better half of the last 2 weeks working away on this project. He is ranked 8th in the world for unique decorations owned!! He didn't want to post anything because he's shy. But I'm not lol
There will be! I belive it was talked about at Blizzcon that housing desigs will be exportable!! The only problem will be, do you have all the items for said build?
This is made on the Horde side!!! Still not done, he says IF the outside budget is increased - the gazebos are getting walls to make it look more Dalaran-ish!

You could just do what us in the northeastern US did and make the first floor of our house a "basement". Just gotta find a nice hill to build it on.

Nah, no real need for that, considering most people wouldn’t decorate as many houses as they have characters. Happy enough that they let us have two.

Ger rid of neighbourhoods and offer themed instanced plots instead. Problem solved.
I guess you weren't around when all characters got their own garrison?
I 100% was. It’s entirely not comparable.
A garrison with preset decorations and no customization is not even remotely comparable

One house per faction is just fine. One per character is way more than what’s necessary
There would be so many dead neighborhoods that you'd be complaining about having no neighbors instead.
