The ECB has already deemed that seizing the money would be illegal. The EU is asking Belgium to break European law.
If you want the money, find unanimous agreement in all 27 countries that governments should be able to seize foreign bank accounts, then the Belgians will gladly comply with the law.
Until then, be grateful that Belgium is the only country who donates the entire profit of the frozen money to Ukraine, and ask yourself why your country cannot even reach that low bar.

Capitalists don’t care about this war, some may not want it to end, and ultimately if this means them taking their money elsewhere it could have strong repercussions on the global financial system in a way that plays into Russias hand in trying to make a multi polar economic model.
