Nah dawg it’s hosed. You could probably bolt on a cold shoe and run an auxiliary sync wire to your hot shoe but that’s probably outside of your skill level if you haven’t already thought of that option.
I’m a mechanic and handy man so I’m just looking for ideas. I don’t want to BS it so I’m looking for any technical work arounds from the community as I am a relatively new photographer. Thank you for the suggestion.
I unfortunately have no solutions to offer, and I hope this doesn’t come across as rude, but if it does end up being toast, can you send me the battery compartment cover?? 😅 I have the same flash but it’s missing that one piece, pretty much rendering it useless unless i shell out $$ for another one (at which point, i might as well just buy a fully functional one, lol)… Will pay shipping + a little tip for being awesome if you do.

You got a 3D printer? There’s that avenue, too.
Got a buddy with one. Thanks for the idea!

I do wish you luck in finding a fix though.
I feel like you could make a makeshift battery cover for cheap. Not rude haha. I get it. Thought out here for film shooters haha
