On the other hand, you will find many, many Fate fans willing to slander Gilgamid, King of Jobbers and the First Bum in human history. The amount of fumbles he commits is simply so legendary that a good portion of his fans love to slander him too

Kratos definitely has the funnier fandom cause they were trying to convince the guy who wrote him that kratos is this transcendant, multidimensional entity who can flip all reality.

As someone that despises FGO with every breath I take, I can't imagine hating the entire franchise because of gacha bullshittery, because non-FGO stuff is still peak. Gil's design being cool is the only reason I don't despise him for not being a giant buff man with a beautiful beard
Some Kratos fans are actually insane though. I've seen some argue that he could beat the biblical God that's described as omnipotent. I've seen one say he could fight the Lovecraft mythos (y'know, the pantheon with Azathoth who ends existence by waking up). Meanwhile, Kratos is literally just a dude that punches really hard 💀

Sucks actually good stories such as Avalon Le Fay and unironically the first like 3 GudaGuda events(well more like 2-4 the first one kinda sucked too) are locked behind some bs gacha slop
Gil's design is also fine, never thought much of it since the character itself is more important and Fate itself gets the history right there.
Its mostly people hate Nasu for blatantly ignoring anything else Fate related for fucking years because "oooh gacha game gotta put more money into that" its why Strange Fake's anime was delayed so fucking long, why we still dont have that Extra Record game(what Id argue is the best story in the series), and why the character writing has gone downhill on average
One good thing about Type-Moon is that there’s technically always new content to consume, so Aslume is unlikely. Even if Strange/Fake keeps getting delayed, we’re at least getting something while waiting

But I just don't care about it anymore, while I know some people who use to play it absolutely seethe whenever fate is mentioned anywhere.
