The street view looks slightly different but maybe the building has been renovated?
I can’t believe this was so hard to find given how unique it is! Discovered by total luck. Thought it looked like a ticket window and a quick browse of buses and trains didn’t seem right especially with the setting. As a skier who has stood at many outdoor ticket windows decided to try that. I started at the south and browsed some pictures of the resorts and got lucky that this one was second one I looked. The picture showed up for that resort.
oh nice!! thanks a lot for solving that - it was Fushimi Inari area after all. It didn't show up with 'souvenir shop' search in eng/jp and I felt too lazy to look for it :D
Hmmm... in Finland I only know Helsinki, Espoo and some lakes in the surrounding. Beautiful country and lovely architecture for sure and I have no idea where this carrilon could be. Fiskars Village maybe?
