Maybe just get some electrolyte tablets or other solutions. They usually have potassium along with other very important minerals. Just don't overdo them and rather focus on them meeting your minimal intakes rather than covering recommended daily ones.
Magnesium helps with muscle recovery very well. They say it also helps with relaxation and that includes random cramps, but when I upped my intake years ago it didn't do the trick. But that just means in my particular case it wasn't a lack of mag.

I don't even get up, I just stretch the muscle against the cramp and it goes away very quickly.
I’ve found that you just need to straighten your leg and flex the toes up. It’ll still hurt afterward but you skip the most painful part.
For me it works just to put my weight on the leg.

You can cancel cramps by flexing your toes upwards without getting out of bed if you're extra lazy.
Also punch the muscles near where cramp is about to happen. Something with lactic acid? Helps the body start working in that area I've found.
