We received a hand me down pack n play that included this, but can’t figure out what this little guy is. It’s 8” across, super light weight, flat, gray, cotton and has two ties on the bottom. It’s too flat to be an ear piercing pillow. It’s almost like a pot holder but with a hole in the middle??

That could make sense! I’ve not experienced a hemorrhoid, but I think this is too flat to provide any cushioning? Not sure if that makes a hemorrhoid pillow more or less likely haha.
I haven’t either and just kind of assumed hemorrhoid pillows looked like this, but after looking it up, they don’t, so I no longer think that’s the answer. Also doesn’t look like a cushion to keep your babies head from becoming flat on the back (which would make more sense with a pack and play). Honestly not sure atp

My title describes the thing. There’s no writing or tag in it, but we received a hand me down pack n play and this was included in the case. Google Image thinks is a pillow for side-sleepers to use when they get their ear pierced, but it’s way too flat for that to be the case, let alone that it’s not useful to an infant (haha). The pack n play brand is Chicco but that didn’t bring any results either. The ties on the bottom are a more satin-y material like trim. The whole thing is about the thickness of a pot holder and has a similar feel, although I don’t think it is that either.
Possibly to go over a peaked hat to add to sun/rain protection? I’ve seen similar go on top of/fit over hard hats in construction
Possibly!! It’s only cotton and pretty small (8” diameter) compared to a sun hat brim, but it would definitely slide onto something like you’re describing.
Head-shaping pillow. Stops baby’s head from getting flat on the back if they nap in there. Ties to hold in place for comfort and safety. Though infant sleep safety is a topic I’m not touching on Reddit lol

Its head support for the baby while they’re laying in the bassinet that comes with it. Is this the Chico brand? Pretty sure I had that same one almost 8 years ago when my son was an infant!

Could be one of those neck pillows they put on dogs after surgery to stop them chewing the stitches? But then the ties don't really make sense
Maybeeee. It doesn’t have a zipper or anything to get it around a dogs head — you’d have to pull it over. Also would have to be a v small pup!
I used something like this once when I broke my tailbone. I'm guessing it's a butt pillow for reducing pressure from localized areas to reduce discomfort while sitting.
