What are these green circular things along my walkway outside my house in the backyard? I live in Colorado and they’re on the west side of the house and they’re only on 1 side of the walkway.

Solved! I had no idea such a thing existed. I thought it had something to do with the snow because this is the first time I’ve lived in Colorado where it snows.
It’s funny that they’re along that walkway where there’s mostly rocks on the side. The only thing that grows there are my wild snap dragons. Now that I know what they are, I’ll probably remove them.
My title describes the thing in the west side of my yard. They are only on the side of the sidewalk it’s closest to my house. There are seven of them along the sidewalk. Each of them are approximately 4 feet apart. They are 3 inches above the rocks and 3 inches above the sidewalk.

Hose guide
Lets you drag your garden hose around and keeps it from taking out your plants when you yank on it from around the corner.

They could guide an extension cord for an electric snowblower as well as a hose.

Yup. I used to have ones exactly like those before switching to a style I'm less likely to accidentally break with my clumsy feet 😑
Love them! Saved my solar lights and potted plants
That’s genius!
Or from your plants destroying your hose! I had a rose bush destroy a hose this summer.
I swore by them but when I stopped doing my own yard work the workers just buried them in the mulch, lol.
Really useful… HOWEVER… pull them before the snow. I lost mine to my snowblower…
They help run a hose to keep it out of a garden/etc

Definitely to keep hose away from plants. They don’t work very well.

The people who put them there may Jane had a bunch of potted plants along the walk way.
Also helps to keep the hose from getting caught on things when you pull it.
given the weight of a hose, they'd have to be anchored very well. And they're ugly, my wife would never have these in the yard...
Edit, not sure why I'm getting downvoted but whatever. If you're offended by my comment, vote away.
They make more stylish ones, but you have to look for them.
I have some lovely older ones. Cast iron and ornate
These are cheap ones. They do make better ones. The ones I have have 2 pieces. I can easily pull it out to trim/mow.
they're ~6" inches or so long below the donut...how well they work depends on your soil. mine don't stay put very well.
Hose guides so the hose doesn’t destroy plants.

They're landscaping stakes. Basically the sidewalk's boundary markers.
