The bottom has pointy spikes and detaches. 5.5 inches at the widest point, 1.5 at the smallest. No logos or markings of any kind. Light weight, made of hard plastic with 8 ridges only on the outside, the inside is glossy smooth.

Thanks to all who attempted to find an answer.
It’s an ice scraper. Google “funnel ice scraper”.
Thanks so much! I never would have guessed that. Solved!
Also it works shockingly well. Better than the standard scraper.
How do you use it? Just a scrubbing motion?
Yes! I remove the spikes on mine to grip and then circle around. It is remarkably effective!!!
The spikes work to scrape into thicker ice too. Get it started so the funnel can get rid of the rest
Ye they do work well , puzzle for a lott of people on first contact
I have one of these in my car and I've been using it as funnel when filling my screen wash.
Truly the best ice scraper you’ll ever use
I own one and it's one of the worst ice scrapers I've ever used, a sturdy credit card is better, it's not just bad at removing ice but it's size makes it impossible to conveniently store. A traditional flat scraper is so much better in every way
In my extensive experience scraping ice, virtually anything will work but the very best method is to warm up your car for ten minutes.
Yes this haha. If you flip up your windshield wipers in the evening and run the car in the morning, it’ll make clearing the car so much easier the next day

My mom gave me one of those last Christmas and I had to look it up to find out what it was. So don’t feel bad, you’re not alone.
They are freaking awesome. Spiky side for hard ice. The other side forms to the curve in the windows and works very well
Hands down the best scrapper I have ever used.
Great little scraper.
I would love one of these but I can barely reach across the windshield with a regular ice scraper.

It’s literally the best ice scraper you will ever use
The funnel is an icescraper and it works weirdly well. Bird seed is just a snack
Bird seed can be used to gain traction on ice. It's more than just a snack.
Less abrasive on animal paws than salt as well

I use sand around the house because I don't want to dump salt all over everything, but I can see how in a pinch bird seed would totally get the job done for the same reason.
Bird seed will also get cleaned up with no effort on your part.

My partner bought me one of those ice scrapers, we tried it once and got the old scraper back out
I like it for the inside of the windshield if you don't have time to wait for the defrost
In my part of the world having the inside freeze is rare and that usually means I've got too much moisture inside my car, so I just get my dehumidifying thing out and it stops happening
What kind of dehumidifier thing are you referring to that you bring to the car?
It's just one of those bags full of like a silica crystal that absorbs moisture, then you microwave it out and go again
Defrost + air conditioning.
Most, but not all, cars will turn on the AC automatically when the controls are set max heat to the front window.
That's what I do, but the poster above makes it sound like they have a device they bring to the car. I'm curious what that could be.
You can use silica based cat litter to absorb moisture in your car
Same! I’m blown away by these people saying it’s amazing.
I think it's great for frost but if you have thicker ice from melted snow it sucks. This is from using one twice a few years ago.
I have one for each car. It works pretty well for light frost. So as a credit card drivers license. It did not do well on heavy frost at all. Fortunately, we usually get light frost.
Yeah, light frost it's ok but then my normal scraper which fits inside the door pocket is also pretty good at light frost and actually, pretty good at heavy frost too
I tried one of these things and couldn't get it to work at all. Went back to my crappy old one
I have one and it works like a charm!
Looked it up and wow yeah it does look like it works well.
I have one in real life and it works very quickly and very well. However, I’m kind of short, and my van is kind of tall and wide, so it can be hard to reach the centers of things.
I gave one as a gift to my niece who has a small car and her partner who has a big truck. And her partner is short. So he can’t really use it. You do have to be able to put your own behind it. But it is fast.
The original was called a scrape-a-round, an ice scraper. My grandparents used to sell these along with other junk at flea markets. They claimed it worked super well, but I never understood it since its impossible to reach the windshield on larger vehicles or you have to reach over super far to get the center.

I couldn't visualized how to use it, so here's a v short vid
You make a (biggish) hole in the ice with the spiky side and then scrape with the wider side. Idk how the birdseed works.
Forget the scraper.
1 part rubbing alcohol + 1 part water in a spray bottle works great to melt ice on a windshield.
Depending on the concentration of the isopropyl alcohol you’re using, I would not use 1:1 as it can affect the clear coat if you get any on your paint. You probably want it diluted to like 20% IPA to be careful.
I imagine if you have half an inch thick ice on your windshield, this is not going to work. I have used plastic lids and similar for the light frost.
Coincidentally, I 3D-printed this ice scrapper yesterday.
That's an ice scraper. For your car windows.
Is it a funnel to pour birdseed into the feeder?
Funnel for scraping ice off car Seed for traction on ice
It’s a ice scraper I never liked the one I got as gift
With the bird feeder I would’ve thought it was to fill up bird feeders with seed as in like a funnel device 🤔
People keep saying this is an ice scraper. IDK, my initial thought was to put the bird seed pack inside the 'funnel' from the larger side, tie it to the small spiked disk on top, and hang it. The squirrels can't get it.
The bird seed looks like it is a solid piece with a string on it.
Hang it so the bird sees all falls out?? That is incorrect, it is in fact an ice scrapper. Source: I own the exact same one.
