Performance at WEC season-opener will determine fledgling team’s approach to drivers…

  • Why not just utilize your 6 drivers? Heart of Racing made a little bit more sense because they were running 3 cars across WEC and IMSA.

If you’re just running 2 cars in WEC, wouldn’t you want all of your drivers involved to get the maximum amount of information from each driver in each car? Plus you go into Le Mans with the same lineups you’ve been running all season.

Seems to me like they’re just adding extra unnecessary stress on drivers in Qatar and extra unnecessary limitations to their development, but what do I know? I’m just an account manager lol

  • So they're doing a "dance little puppets" act in Qatar where drivers are basically driving for their future. While racing the 2nd longest race of the year, on a tough track, with a brand new. I don't know chief but I feel like that's not it. I feel like you want as little stress as possible while having as much constants as possible and this is doing the literal opposite of that.

  • That is a very Hyundai thing to do... Their WRC team also have had a chaotic approach to their line-up.

  • that's so idiot... it could happen so many unpredictable stuff unrelated to drivers performances or mistakes in a single race to take a so big decision that could influence the whole season.

  • If reliability is not there for the car debut, which isn't unheard of, this will age very funny.

  • I mean it’s for spa and imola only so rest they will run 3 driver lineup
