Been working on this on and off for the past few months, I finally took it off the loom a few days ago. Today I set up for my next project that I’ll be working on during my winter break. Yellow! Happy holidays and weaving everyone!
Thank you for posting your project. We suggest adding information about it. Users like to know: fiber (warp and weft), weave pattern, EPI, type of loom used, and other info that you think might be interesting.
Absolutely gorgeous work! I was surprised by the colors of the warp since the cloth is so pink, but it just goes to show how combining warp & weft transforms the colors!
What was the lengte of the project and how wide?
It looks standing in you. Did you use a patern ore just by head?
And on what loom did you make it?
Just live it!!
I just start weaving just now. And i am have not made anything yet.
I need to learn how to make a warp thread.
I haven’t measured it lol I definitely need to since it’s my longest project yet. No pattern I just did a plain weave alternating colors whenever I felt like it, the yarn I used was color changing so I would just pick from the inside or outside, depending on how I felt. This video is actually a life saver and has the perfect rundown on getting set up. Good luck on your weaving journey and I can’t wait to see what you create.

Oh, this is very beautiful and so feminine!!
I have an old carriage blanket, about 150 years old, that I want to recreate using similar colors. Its fiber is cotton. I'll post my project once I get it started.
Again, gorgeous!!!❤️💐❤️💐❤️💐⚡️
Wow, yes please post the recreation when you get a chance I’d love to see when you finish. I wove a cotton beach towel during the summer that came out wonderfully, and I’m sure the process will be just as pleasing and rewarding even more so since you’ll be recruiting something of meaning with very deep history to you.
Happy weaving! 😊😊
What yarn did you use? Very pretty.
Thank you! The warp yarn is Caron latte cake in lemon sponge and the weft is Caron colorama halo yarn in purple orchid.

I know I was expecting the purple/pink to be so dominant but I love the subtle peak of yellow.
Absolutely! I love the way it makes subtle shades of orange with the pink
