Brother if you aren't a bot, you schizo post like one. Posting identical shit to 10+ subs EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU POST SOMETHING is either a bot or narcissistic as fuck to think that many places need to see your posts at once
He probably just wants useless internet points. You got more points with this one comment than the points he got with his 10 posts and all the comments he made on them combined
This whole thing is a totally necessary and worthwhile industry.
Unfortunately it’s going to be crushed when the bill comes due for the AI craze. Rather it’s successful or not there is no path to profitability on trillions in data centers whose purpose is to end employment of the working class who pay the bills that make companies profitable. Eventually you have no one to sell to if the goal is to replace as much staff as possible crashing the entire economy.
Amazon is selling compute. Of course that’s profitable.
The issue is it’s not sustainable for companies like OpenAI to exist. It’s a constant firepit of money to the tune of billions a year without even considering their several hundred billion dollar commitment that they claim will be enough to ugh maybe be profitable in 2030+ after spending a fucking trillion.

Bot
Clearly not a bot, they have no idea what VC firms actually do. They’re just regarded
I said bot because the comment made no sense with what they were responding to

Companies are already getting a ROIC so the bills are getting paid
Which AI company is profitable again?
Google, Amazon, meta, Microsoft come to mind
Show me where any of those companies claim to be profitable in the AI sector.
Go read a 10-Q
Show me an AI company that makes a profit on AI.

The companies I listed are ai companies. You seem like you only consider the labs to be ai companies.
If you aren’t aware ai runs on compute
Cutting edge compute is always good and valuable
Less pixel please
What is this, a semiconductor chart for ants??!

Nvidia is not ONLY a semiconductor company
Most of the others are.
And then there is ARM, which isn't a semiconductor company AFAIK.
They sell licenses for chip architectures, but they don't make any chips themselves.
Also, it is odd to not include Apple, given some of the others present.
This useless and stupid bot post brought to you by semi conductors!
Apple should be in there too.
And googl...
It has been for years?
Just started to buy semiconductor etf. 🙂
More like a multi trillion dollars minefield.
Is Global Foundries not even relevant anymore?
Now a trillion?? It’s been a trillion for a long time

The V in VC stands for Venture as in startup not Large Cap.
... Nothing...?
