Any good recommendations for vegan breakfast in Tokyo, specifically around Shinjuku area? I saw morethan bakery, do they have good options on days other than Sunday?
I never go to Starbucks in the states, but went there several mornings in Tokyo this year because they were open early and had some really good vegan food options that we don't have here.
MORETHAN is still mostly vegan on non-Sundays. I’d gladly eat there every morning if I stayed close to it.
I can also recommend the vegan Komeda cafe in Ginza.
Honestly, the hardest thing is finding any vegan places that are open before 11.
Yup! We ate at Komeda 4x for the very reason most places aren't open for breaky!
The nuts exchange, all vegan, opens 8:30am every day
Very close to Shinjuku
Love the Nuts Exchange!
KomedaIS (you have to go the one in Ginza) is open early in the mornings!
Get the egg ‘McMuffin’ at The Nuts Exchange - incredible!
Another vote for Komeda Is. The entire menu was amazing.
A couple more options that open early:

Were you thinking about SOMIO(ソミオ)by OMISONOMORI? Some of the best vegan cupcakes!

i guess they’re more muffins. i only walked by and wasn’t able to stop in so that’s why i thought it was cupcakes
I was at that cupcake spot too!! I got one of everything haha coz i was so excited
I'd make the way to Shimokita for Universal Bakes for sure :D
Plant more in shinjuku. It was so good i went back there like 4 times.
If youre anywhere close to asakusabashi, id also recommend cafe tarot.
