Have a great week!

  • I’m still a bit confused on the tariffs for Vestratto vapes getting shipped into the US. For those that have bought since Vestratto resumed shipping to the US, what sort of additional fees have you incurred, if any?

Second question, if I purchase the Tornado full rig, it can be used in a 14mm bubbler without any additional parts, right?

Buy from sneaky Pete in the US he just got them in stock, no tariffs, think it was 210. It's not the full rig. It believe you can use either the wpa or full rig with a bubbler with no additional parts

Thank you so much for the heads up! Tornado ordered!

  • Just got my POTV Cube bubbler in and love it so far. It has a whip attachment made out of what looks to be some kind of silicon or rubber. After just one bowl with it I love it and plan on using it daily after work.

How often should I clean it? And is 91% alcohol safe for it? I haven't had a whip before and don't know how grubby it'll get since I do plan on vaping only with it.

Edit: also the vape is a POTV Xmax V3 if that matters.

Eh, you can clean the tubing with iso, but letting it dwell will degrade the silicon.  Best to view the whip as consumable.  You can measure the current tubing and order some bulk replacement to cut and replace as needed.

  • Would love some advice. I’m a very casual cannabis smoker, when I smoke it’s 4-5 draws of a joint. Takes me a while to smoke a joint.

I’m still conscious of the health affects of combustion so I would like to get a vaporizer.

Any recommendations on a vaporizer that:

    • doesn’t need to take a large load of weed
    • good quality
    • not being used on the move
    • easy to clean, load and maintain

I was looking at solo 3, but no idea if that’s a good one to go with. My concern is I’m having to put too much weed in when I will smoke only a fraction?

    Any advice is appreciated

if i were looking to check those (and only those) four boxes, i'd probably get a log vape like a woodscents, personally.

i'm assuming from your pick that you'd need it to be portable?

I have more than a few devices, and I always vape very small loads — 0.025g to 0.04g.

I just bought a dynavap m7. Is there a min amount you can put in?

Set the bowl to its 1/2 bowl setting.

I use SneakyPete / VapeNorth 1/2 bowl converters (a bit easier and add some thermal mass) — but definitely not required.

Load a little (medium to coarse grind) and VERY gently tamp — just enough so that it doesn’t fall out when inverted, but you don’t really want to compact it. The half bowl doesn’t need to be full!

Play around and see what works for you.

I’ve regularly done 0.025g in my Dynavaps. Heck, I use the same amounts in my Tornado, and it has a HUGE bowl.

    Legend - many thanks

  • I have a dynavap but am not super psyched with it. I love how small I can load bowels- but I’m not thrilled with the heating method and wand. I feel even though I’ve never changed the wand temp, I get super inconsistent hits off of it. Sometimes it burns the herb and tastes nasty.

I’m looking for something that takes that guess work out. I microdose, so I’m looking for something good with small bowls. I don’t need sessions mode. Cleaning must be easy- I’m lazy so have to have it be simple.

I’m looking at the solo 3 v2 and the tafee bowle 2.

I hate the form factor and price on tafee, but it looks extremely close to what I need from a dry herb vape. Just hit it and forget it.

The solo 3 is much more in my price range, but also looks more complex and I would only use it for on demand mode.

It’s just me using it. I could pay for the tafee bowle if I really think it will be right for me, but it will hurt. I like the idea of portability and don’t want something massive… but I wil likely only use it at home. But occasionally take it places. I don’t want a desktop vape.

    Thoughts? Alternatives? Thanks!

I have the Solo 3 v2 and I love it. Easy and simple. From the description, I didn't think it would be so easy to use and clean. * The glass "aroma tubes" come with a small bowl and a larger bowl. I fill either with whatever amount I want, usually around 0.05-0.1 g * Glass tubes are super easy to clean! I took a jar that was tall enough to hold the taller tubes, let them soak a little, remove, put a little dish soap in it, shake it with my fingers on each end, and rinse until no soapy bubbles are left. I can clean a couple of aroma tubes in under 2 minutes after a short soak in alcohol. I use the alcohol several times before changing because it's only for loosening the gunk. The cleaning is accomplished with the soap. * Bought extra tubes on the cheap on Amazon that work well! * Tubes come in lengths and 2 bowl sizes. Aftermarket tubes are available with various types of cooling designs, which work well and are surprisingly easy to clean * I bought extra storage tubes with caps and can fill a few in advance if I want to. * I primarily use the session mode for 3 hits and then turn it off. The on-demand mode works just as well, so I can use either mode for solo sessions * I have never used a ball vape (would like to!) because I wanted the simplicity of the electronic device * The taste is amazing and the preset temperatures are great. You can easily change each of 3 levels to suit your tastes. I use 333F/350F/375F depending on the strain and dryness. *It's is a super clean taste and hits hard, at least for me. Maybe not as hard as a ball vape, I suspect, but great, especially for the ease of use * I have a Gpen Elite that I use for taking out, and there is less extraction with the Gpen than with the Solo 3 * I used to use the Arizer XQ2 desktop at home, but I almost always reach for the Solo3 v2 now although there is a noticeable increase in extraction with the desktop

Short of using a ball vape, which I perceive as having higher extraction, I am 100% happy with the Solo 3 v2 to the point that I don't think I will buy a ball vape.

    I hope this helps!

It does, a lot! Thank you!

  • Recently bought a pax flow and preordefed a frolic at the same time. Frolic took a couple weeks longer to get to me because the shop I ordered from was waiting on their shipment.

Within that time I received the pax flow and used it daily/heavily.

The pax flow has already completely stopped working. It is giving me a red lighting error and will no longer heat up.

It will fully hold a charge but it won’t heat up anymore. I have also reset the device and still ran into this error light.

  • I'm looking for some advice on where to start looking for a dhv. I appreciate any advice yall have!

    Price range: ~$150 or less

    # of participants: normally one, up to 3 on rare occasion

I'm tending to think desktop will be better for more power, but I like the idea of a portable one. I could go either way.

    Prefer electric/battery

Leaning towards on-demand, but open to session. I typically smoke from a bong and on-demand seems closer to that experience.

Frequency of use: daily, roughly a bowl a day

    Located in the USA

If you up your budget another $10 or so you can get the ball vape Ruby Twist from vgoodiez, with the coupon code HOLIDAY20, for $160. I don't have one yet(I'm ordering mine next month) but it's pretty universally praised on this sub for being a heavy hitter and face melter.

If you wanna go portable then check out the Healthy Rips Rogue 2. That's under $150.
