High of 24. Low of 10. Fuck dude. If it's any consolation, I have that same walmart 10 degree bag and was able to take it down to 12 degrees comfortably wearing all my layers, including my jacket, and combining it with a military goretex bivy. Had lots of cardboard under me, plus a foam pad.
You should be able to find somewhere to camp where you can build a fire. That will at least give you a break from the cold while you are awake. That sucks. Hope you get a motel.
If I was in your shoes, I'd fly a sign all day to get a motel. There's good money in that part of Virginia. At the very least, you could get some fleece pajamas to wear under your pants, and a second sleeping bag. Can always return the sleeping bag in a couple days when it warms up.
