Ok, admittedly, I do not know how to do this. But, I think that it must start with a desire, or maybe a want, a need. This can maybe be as simple as, "I gotta get out!"
That is, what it is. Right?
Well. I want to see beaches. I want to see stars, trees, be free!
But what else?
I have been in places, where the only thing I had to do, was watch TV. And I watched a good deal of Ancient Aliens. So it popped into my head that I always wanted to go explore Mnt, Shasta.
So, I begin making a plan. Start in South California, work my way up the coast, see beaches, maybe find a travel companion with similar interests. Then cut over and go see the weird and mysterious Mnt. Shasta.
Oh man!
Anyone, got words for that idea?

I recommend Tillamook State Forest in Oregon, specifically the Jordan Creek trail. I spent a couple weeks exploring that area. I took this picture about three miles up (by car) and it was breathtaking every day. Very little light pollution and almost eerily silent.

Shasta area is great, I definitely would recommend it just not in winter unless you enjoy suffering
I just think of " making something more concrete" and then it sometimes, Takes on a life of its own. Ive found people or, your friends can sure have different ideas from your own, usually that end up costing a whole lot more, and so it never gets done! = One fine day...
I rubbertramp and have screwed it up, still working on it as I save $ for the next trip. I don't fit in around here r/vagabond much.
Hello. And thanks for the words. I am looking forward to building this little dream into a full adventure.
I am slowly trying to build a page where people will come to see what I do next.
Got any suggestions?
I am a poor person, and losing my food stamps as of January. I bought a low mileage minivan and figured many of the out of the way parts on it won't fail in the middle of no where.
It took a while to pay it off. Younger people may have better luck with old ass vehicles. Vehicles are a pain!
Towing and getting repairs will cost you God knows how much, so reality dictates to at least try to keep catrastrophes from occuring , much.
