Land slides in India.

Imagine living in the middle of a city and this happens. A 65-foot-wide, 300-foot-deep crater in Guatemala city swallowed a three-story factory.

    parent root
    3 points BigDaddyPropane

    Oh shit I remember that

    parent root
    5 points furyian24

    Who is whistling

    parent root
    5 points Huganho

    Oh no, that's not whistling.

That's a 5-7 year old girl screaming in panic right before death. Or if you want to be cheerful, she might have lived avd just the panic of watching all that.

    parent root
    3 points zombiecorp

Probably many more in the buildings. That was so fast even the car had no chance.

RIP to all those unlucky souls.

At what range do you need a NSFW?

    parent
    26 points DrDolphin245

Similar question: how long does someone need to be dead until it's called archaeology instead of grave robbing?

    parent root
    14 points Purple_Clockmaker

The answer may shock you but there is NO time distinction. Only purpose. So if I steal your shit for my own gain it's grave robbing but if I steal your shit and say it's for science and then look at it and show it to others then it's ok.

    parent root
    4 points Equivalent-Drive-439

Ya that was alot of death in one clip!

I keep seeing peoples heads getting bashed in on my feed and think the same thing, something’s up with my algorithm, I like boxing but damn

    parent root
    1 points AlternativeNo882

Ayo, I feel you. I've seen some wild shit, but seeing someone casually get their head bashed in by a chair is pretty brutal. Same with this.

I find as I become older, shit like this isn't entertaining anymore, just sad. I remember a dark web site that had a lot of video's of people jumping off buildings or heads being blown off or fatal car crashes with mutilation and what not.

Shit just hits different when your 15 years older. I pray for them. 🙏

In urbanism, this is what happens when the environment is over crowded with cities and infrastructures.

No more natural forest/structure will retains the ground layers.

Freaking sad as hell . I hope no one died.

    parent
    4 points Quolley

I hate to break it to you but landslides are incredibly deadly, anyone you see in this video probably did not make it out, it's sad but that's the way it is

    parent root
    0 points [deleted]

That would be the "hope" part.

    parent root
    2 points [deleted]

Let’s simplify things and imagine a wall of water hitting you in a flash flood. This has almost 100% fatality rate

The same physics apply in land slides and I can almost guarentee no one made it out alive

    parent root
    0 points patato4040

The death count is currently at 4 with many more still missing☹️

    parent root
    0 points UhOhAllWillyNilly

Thar death count is preposterous BS but remember that India has about one and a half billion people so if a village is obliterated it’s relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Unless of course you are one of the people or a relative of one. This is indeed heartbreaking to most of us viewers though.

    parent root
  • 1 points berckman_

The sad reality is that people build near bodies of water and every cycle their homes get destroyed and people die. After a few years you will see people building in the same exact spot just because they can. And this will repeat, the government will issue emergency aid, the press will blame global warming or something, a major might lose their job, and thats it.

First world countries have policies in place to avoid building in dangerous zones, but thats not the vast reality of the world.

    parent
    2 points KnotiaPickle

Landslides can happen very unexpectedly even in first world countries

Not even .001% of people living in India are scammers. These people probably did back breaking work in horrid conditions through no fault of their own. They had human experiences just like everyone else, cut short by this. Be a better human dude.

    parent root
    1 points KnotiaPickle

Making ugly jokes about people who died in such a tragic and horrible way shows what kind of person you are.

Is this really what you want to be?

    parent root
    1 points OkCod1106

Honestly what are you doing with your life lmao, like anything good? “Probably telemarketing scammers”, do you think the entire nation is making money by just that or what.
