Something I never really thought much of until joining the school swim team my last year of High School. I was last to join, so everyone else was used to one another, but for me it was all new. During long practices, the coaches would really frown on anyone walking back to the locker room and on several occasions I was actually told to "just pee in the pool." Back in the locker room guys always peed in the showers and even just toward drains where they were changing.
In time the conversation came up with my mom and she thought it rather normal, confessing that at the beach she's always just peed through her swimsuit in the sand or waded into the water. She says, ladies aren't always as bold about as men, but peeing in showers or even in a dressing stall isn't a big deal.
Where do you usually pee while swimming or in locker rooms, where have you seen teammates or others pee?
Always done in the water through your swimsuit. Even in the shower or on the sand.

Most people just go in the pool. At the beach they'll just go into the ocean to pee. Peeing on the sand...more women do this than men do because they can be more discreet about it. I'm sure people pee in the shower in locker rooms (I do) but I've never once in the 49 years I've been alive seen any man just openly piss in the changing room.
Yes, you're right, peeing on the sand is typical for women! They sit on the sand and pee through their swimsuits, and you can't see anything.
The only place I've seen that was in the school locker room, which was rather unsupervised and everyone knew each other. But I always assumed they'd eventually get into trouble for it, but never did.
Although peeing in the pool is discouraged, it's common practice. In the locker room, almost everybody pees while showering.
The beach is one of my favorites.. Pissing on the sand out of view always feels nice. As far as at the pool, I prefer to get out and find somewhere not in the pool itself. I don't like the feeling if it at all.
