That's 3 million people each day.
Suppose 1 in 100 receive >=$42 in ones on any given day.
That means in order for at least one person to have what happened above have a 99% chance of happening this year, people would have to write 42 on 1 in 2 million bills.
Given that I have seen it on a $1 as well, I would assume it's more often than that.
Am I crazy for thinking this post is literally what this subreddit is supposed to be???? Like sure it could’ve happened, but it also could’ve been faked really easily, therefore untrustworthy. Right? Am I wrong about this sub?
I never felt that "could be faked" deserves to be in this sub.
The original pop tart was a pathetic attempt to fool people and deserved ridicule.

Yes it could easily be fake in all parts of the story, but because its so tame and possible i wouldn't count it as a poptart.
I guess I’m just confused by the distinction. A third pop-tart seems both just as likely and just as easy to fake as having 42+ dollars and the 42nd one happens to have a 42 on it. Slip a third pop-tart in vs take the 42 marked bill and just put it in the 42nd slot. I don’t really see how they’re all that different, if that makes sense? I appreciate you taking the time
T - if you think about it thousands of coincidences happen daily, some more significant than others. This person might count money for a living, and something like this was bound to happen at some point.
Yep especially in retail it's a matter of time that someone would get lucky and have a bill make it into their till and be in order with a number. These bills can float around forever, and no one is going to notice or point it out when it's not in its "expected" place.

Ive tried sitting down and playing DnD but it didnt keep my attention. Hes also into PC gaming a lot. Moding his games. Lately tho hes been telling me more about Sarah j maas? Hes dying for me to read her books. Lol
