Tim Hortons in Canada is a literal shithole at this point. The foods gross. They hand out moldy bagels, there’s constantly flies on the food and around the kitchen, it’s truly disgusting. The only thing they care about at Tim Hortons is their Drive Thru time
Before I stopped going they literally asked me to pull out of the drive thru and park out front for a coffee and a bagel. There was nobody else in line behind me.
That franchise is a shadow of its former self and fucking sucks now.

I used to be a barista. Sometimes in a (long-term) effort of gaslighting and trying to make my supervisor go insane/crazy/lose her mind I would slip things in to customers drinks while she was making them. Springs, fruit peels, AirPods, and of course, a bic pen in the venti every now and then. So I’d imagine the OP went to a store where something very similar was going on.
