I'm I'm bored and I'm excited for the webtoon to come back next week and Arlo is my favorite character in the series, so out of curiosity what are some headcannons you guys for Arlo, from daily life, childhood/ Family life, angst his relationship with Rei and Remi, and etc.
My Arlo headcannon is that when Sera was still in her model student mode Arlo had a small crush on her. One he probably wasn't even aware of. Mainly it just fleshes out why Asslo (early series Arlo) was so focused on Sera. Like even before the series starts Elaine is literally spying on her for him.
I highly doubt that, I think he had a crush on the hierarchy not sera
While definitely true, how I've always seen it was that Arlo wasn't exactly aware of his crush, and his obsession with the hierarchy basically made a mess of it. He didn't think he liked Sera, but he'd think "this is how it should be, we the strongest ruling this school together."
Then when Sera flakes his obsession gets compounded by the stress and the emotions he doesn't even know exist.
It also explains his actions around the first Turf war, he basically tries to show off and impress Sera like he's the villain of a 90's romance movie. The main reason though is connecting the tissue of how Flashback Arlo turns into Series start Arlo. With things like Triple threat, we see a serious but reasonable King, and honestly considering how quickly after getting his ass kicked by John he goes towards that reasonable line, something has to be up. This just being my answer to that.
Nahh I don’t think he was tryna show off to sera at all, that was js back when he was a jerk and was always like that. He even respects rei more than anyone else in his life yet he still enjoys looking down on him. It’s the old jerk in arlo
someone asked him what kind of cologne he wears he said it's Le Monde sur Mesure (one of the most expensive colognes in the world) as a joke but everyone believed him so now everyone thinks he's the extremely rich

-His parents are neglectful to a fault, Valerie is his mother figure.
-He used to have a crush on Rei before he began seeing him as more as big brother figure and some of his bad blood with Kuyo comes from that.
-He actually feels pretty lonely. Most people he is close to either have their own friend groups or he merely considers them acquaintances. Even with Holden there is a gap due to the Hierarchy. Spending time with John was the closest he got to having a normal friendship in a long time. Which is why he actually enjoyed spending time with him before the ambush, though he tries to deny it. He was reminded of Rei and Remi.
I’ve acc headcannoned the first one for a while now. I’ve always believed that god tier parents neglected their kids feelings and health just to get the best of them. Js like how sera’s abusive parents trained her to get her successful (they failed once again) but ya, I do believe that which is y he felt so betrayed when he found out ab Val
I believe that Arlo's parents are with William and his aunt is manipulating Arlo by using his dead brother and mother-in-law.
I mean...she literally asked how they were doing when they met at the cafe.
-parents are divorced but it was a messsy divorced and so he saw his aunt as a parental figure -still Greiving Rei silently

I actually do have one.
His early memory with Valerie. I truly believe that when he realized she was responsible for Reis death, he fully remembered that day when she told him he can always rely on her to stop the "bad guys" that she had legit blood on her hands. Maybe she saved him from something or maybe she just finished a job for the bureau and he asked her about it. But I believe that scene was him remembering that day more correctly

Arlo definitely had a crush on Sera. And it's implied that Sera kind of knew since she first assumed he would confess to her when he brought the news about Terrence death
For me, a headcanon is that Arlo is so thick-headed that he can't process information properly.
although he doesn't often try it, he can sleep on the ground while still getting the same quality sleep as if he slept on the softest matress ever because of his passive. the only reason he sleeps in a bed is to assert dominance over those in a lower position than him.
I just made that up, but from now on it's my headcannon whether you like it or not
