  • This should be a national scandal. Instead, very few are shocked or care.

Yesterday there was yet another synagogue arson attack / firebombing, this time in the US - Torah scrolls which had survived the synagogue being bombed by the KKK in the 60s, were destroyed in last night's blaze. So sadly this is small beans in comparison.

Those that do care are too few, the rest of us are indifferent because we know it’s happening, we know we can make a fuss, contact our MPs and demand the PM investigate, but it’s a party so thoroughly Anti-Semitic, that Starmer’s “rooting out” only made them hide it better…

We know that doing nothing will end up with another pogram, however as we’ve seen, even the Police are on their side, even the Civil Service, they’re all on the side of radicalism… And they’ll go out of their way to identify us for wrong speak and lock us up…

This reads as a little psychotic, mate. Chill out a bit.

  • I am fed up seeing religion based politics in the UK, this is the UK not the middle east.

  • Those involved do not belong within a 10-mile radius of young children, let alone call themselves educators.

  • I feel so terribly for the British Jewish people.

  • Truly shocking. The school should be subject to an immediate Ofsted inspection.

  • This is what happens when people bend the knee to Islam, every single time equality is not what results but discrimination against other religions, most commonly Anti-semitism.

This is to the surprise of nobody who is actually capable of being honest with themselves and the direction of the UK.

It doesn't seem to be a particularly muslim school

Why do you assume that this has anything to do with islam?

    It’s not antisemitism though

Correct. Unless it comes from the Kristalnacht region of Bavaria its just sparkling antizionism.

They handed out biscuits in the "shape of Israel"..

    Stopping that is not antisemitic.

Can you share what you are referring to about the biscuits? I have seen this 3 times in this thread, but the only story I could find about it was Steve Reed, a different MP, recounting a story told where children were given israel shaped biscuits with the palestinian flag iced on to them, which obviously should not be going on in our schools.

Thank god the Jews have people like you to tell them what is and isn’t antisemitism, we’d be lost without your guidance

Anti Israel isn’t antisemitism. It’s not hard to understand.

Ok. So why is this MP banned.

    He is Jewish.

    He is not Israeli.

"Vice chair of Labour Friends of Israel"

Did someone not even read the sub-heading?

    Supporting Israel

What is his crime? Since it’s definitely not antisemitism you must know what he did that would have presented a safeguarding concern

    A succulent Kosher meal

"Vice chair of Labour Friends of Israel"

Have you ever looked into what Labour Friends of Israel actually stand for? Or do you just assume they’re evil because of the “Joos control our government” antisemitic trope?

https://www.lfi.org.uk/israels-unions-are-fighting-for-its-future/ - advocating for governmental reform in Israel

https://www.lfi.org.uk/lfi-statement-on-the-situation-in-gaza/ - calling for an end to the war and restoration of aid before the ceasefire deal

https://www.lfi.org.uk/lfi-statement-on-sanctions-against-ben-gvir-and-smotrich/ - supporting sanctions on extremist Israeli politicians

    But he is not Israeli?

"Vice chair of Labour Friends of Israel"

They were handing out biscuits "shaped like Israel" and were called out on it.

This is not antisemitism, it is calling out indoctrination.

He’s not even ethnically Jewish, he’s a convert. This is about israel.

  •  “They will be called in, and they will be held to account for doing that, because you cannot have people with those kinds of attitudes teaching our children. You just can’t have it.”

In the past, you could tackle the LEA. What is the mechanism to tackle an academy?

  • Stop it with the “Jewish”. It’s because he’s pro Israeli

It must be a very inconvenient fact for you that the vast majority of Jews are Zionist. Probably over 90%.

10% don't want their own country to exist?

There are a few reasons that some Jews adopt an anti-Zionist perspective, but it requires some nuance to differentiate between them, so bear with me if you care to.

For example, there is a tiny minority of ultra-orthodox Jews called the Neturei Karta who like to join pro Pali protests and generally cosy up to Israel's enemies so as to brandish their anti-Zionist credentials. They talk, walk, and quack like anti-Zionists, but ironically the opposite is true: they are in fact highly Zionist in the sense that they pray 3 times a day for the rebuilding of the ancient Temple in Jerusalem and the revival of the Kingdom of Israel. However, for them, this can only be fulfilled at the coming of the messiah and doing so before then is going against God's will. (Their position is based on a minority opinion found in the Talmud.)

As you can imagine, they have a hard time squaring their position with the fact that the Israel national project, reborn as it was in 1948, has been a resounding success in terms of reviving their culture, language and homeland after 2,000 years in exile.

This group of ultra-orthodox "antizios" are numerically insignificant but get a lot of airtime because they are useful for non-Jewish antizios who can then point to them and proclaim with a straight face: "You see, we're not antisemitic!".

Thus, the Neturei Karta anti-Zionists are actually uber Zionist, more than the average secular Jew who is a Zionist because they are merely students of history, not because they are religious zealots. For the ultra-Orthodox "anti-zios" it's just an issue of timing, that's all, and that's why they present themselves as anti Israel.

Other than ultra-Orthodox anti-zionists, there is a small hardcore of far-left yids who think it a noble imperative to shed their connection to their ancestral homeland in favour of internationalism and universalism. Their belief is underlined by the hope that by giving up their national aspirations, they might finally be accepted as citizens of whichever country they reside as true citizens and countrymen.

Having to fight bloody wars to regain their homeland makes them very uncomfortable (often due to being brought up on a very narrow Jewish upbringing that focuses on the fluffy stuff but leaves out the meat) and so they find themselves siding with those who would just as quickly liquidate them if they could.

These types of Jews have existed before, such as the Bund in the USSR, but the end is always the same. The "pick-me" Jew eventually finds out he never stops being a Jew in the eyes of those who hate him, regardless of his position on "Palestine". Oct 7th was the wakeup for a lot of leftwing Jews. The communities most ravaged by Hamas' murderous brutality that day were from very left wing communes (kibbutzim) who always supported the Palestinian right no a national homeland alongside their own. What they found out that day is that most Palis couldn't give a solitary fuck what you're take is on the "national question", you must be killed and your land taken.

there is a small hardcore of far-left yids who think it a noble imperative to shed their connection to their ancestral homeland in favour of internationalism and universalism. Their belief is underlined by the hope that by giving up their national aspirations, they might finally be accepted as citizens of whichever country they reside as true citizens and countrymen.

I think there are also a number of left wing Jews who are anti-zionist as a general left wing counter-culture, in the way many left wing people are anti-West, despite their entire material and sociological existence being rooted in the left. Only, because they are Jewish, it is anti-Israel rather than anti-West.

Im Jewish, but Israel isn't my country. But im still a Zionist.

Because presumably you support the existence of Israel.

That doesn’t make it my country.

I support the existence of a lot of countries. It doesn’t make them my country. My country is the one I’m from.

    Ok?

So your comment doesn’t make sense when you say 10% of jews don’t want their country to exist, when we say 90% of Jews are Zionist.

    It certainly does.

    Explain it, please.

And the method of its creation?

The person your responding to didn't mention Zionism, they said pro Israeli which likely meant pro Israeli government. In 2023, 12 percent of British Jews had a positive opinion of the Israeli government.

It's because Islamists are genocidally antisemitic, and their Leftist useful idiot allies gleefully climb on the bandwagon and feel morally superior in their racism.

They don't care about Palestinians or human rights. Observe the deafening silence over Sudan a few weeks ago and Iran now. It's about hating Jews.

"It's not because they are jewish, but because they are semitic" - nazis in the 1930s

    He's not Jewish?

Yes he is. He converted in 2018.

  • A new UK Labour Party lawmaker is married to a former Israeli soldier who recruited from Israel’s deadly Unit 8200 spy agency.

Damien Egan, candidate for the UK’s main opposition party, won a by-election in the southwestern English constituency of Kingswood on Friday.

As the result was announced, he was photographed celebrating with his Israeli husband, the Google software developer Yossi Felberbaum.

But the British media failed to report one crucial fact: Felberbaum is a former recruiter of officers from the deadly Israeli spy agency known as Unit 8200.

The signals and cyber-warfare arm of Israel’s military intelligence, Unit 8200 plays a vital role in the targeting, murder, blackmail and mass surveillance of Palestinians.

In 2014, whistleblowers shed new light on the all-encompassing nature of Unit 8200’s mass surveillance system that dominates Palestinian life.

In testimonies to The Guardian, they revealed that Unit 8200 officers boasted to each other about “blood on the headset” – the X’s they marked there after each assassination of a Palestinian.

5 minutes of Googling, I'd do more research but fear such research would add my IP to a list of some sort of another

Why do I get the sneaking suspicion that this (non-linked) web page might not have been written from an entirely objective standpoint

Edit: lol, it's from Electronic Intifada. Any particular reason why you didn't feel the need to include that context when citing it?

They tried to hide the source

Why have you cut and pasted the text instead of posting a link??

"deadly Unit 8200 spy agency" I'm sure all those paper cuts and repetitive strain injuries those SIGINT POGs get are pretty horrific.....

I don't even need to Google where that quote came from since it's almost certainly middleeasteye.

So take the emotive language out of this and it is literally nothing.

I love how your source doesn't even say he was part of 8200. It just says he recruited people who were from 8200.

Crazy thought, that an Israeli software developer might hire people who have experience with cyber security.

Fun fact, people who have served in unit 8200 are valued just as highly, if not more so, than graduates from MIT for recruiters, these guys are well known for being the best of the best when it comes to cyber security. No shit a tech company would be hiring them.

the WSJ even has an article about it, sorry about paywall

«gay Jewish MP married to Israeli husband»

They really had the double whammy of him both being Jewish and Gay, the things they hate the most.

Shame he’s not also a dual national American-Israeli for the full house of hatred for these ghouls.

Oh wow he’s married to a Jew, clearly a crime! /s

Do you guys even read back on the hateful shite you write and then think “yeah that’s great, I’ll post that that’s great”.

    Supporting the genocide is though.

    the genocide

They support the genocide in Sudan?

No-one on the left cares about the genocide in Sudan

Because Jews are not involved there

  • How is he banned? If he shows up will the headmaster/mistress call the police, will he be physically blocked by the staff from entering? A disinvitation is not a ban, and this MP should stand his ground and just show up at this school.

will he be physically blocked by the staff from entering?

    I fucking hope so.

    This is a safeguarding issue.

Why does the "Vice chair of Labour Friends of Israel" want to force kids to recognise the shape of a biscuit as being "Israel"?
