So we all know UFOs have a thing with nuclear sites. Chernobyl, Fukushima, nuclear weapons facilities etc. The pattern’s been pretty well established at this point.
I was telling my girlfriend about it and she just goes “what if they’re everywhere all the time, but radiation makes them visible?”
Then I started looking into it and apparently people were thinking along these exact lines way back in 1947.
During the Maury Island investigation, someone sent a witness an anonymous letter suggesting that the flying discs were “objects that had become visible due to radiation in the atmosphere.”
Thinking about what radiation actually does. It ionizes air, creates charged particles, basically turns the atmosphere into a plasma. If something’s using electromagnetic cloaking or exists in a wavelength we can’t normally perceive, that ionized air could absolutely mess with it.
It would explain why sightings spike around nuclear incidents specifically instead of just being random. And why we don’t see them constantly everywhere else despite how many cameras we have now.
I don’t know if I actually believe this but I also can’t really argue against it? Has anyone else come across anything about this?

What of the historical UFO stories that have happened for 1000's of years, from the cave paintings, the Hopi Indians Ant People and the Nuremburg sky battle. Botticelli has painted UFO in his art 100's of years ago. Add Radiation to those events, and you might have a plausible theory.
This. I always come back to this, the fact that they’ve been around for thousands of years, in paintings for hundreds of years. This is not a new phenomenon that came along with the nuclear age.
Well if the radiation affects their cloaking technology then maybe they just hadn't developed the cloaking technology until more recently, so back then they were visible more often. Or maybe they realized that humans back then didn't have weapons like missiles and so they just didn't bother to use their cloaking technology.

I'm not a scientist, but surely, as we test to age elephant tusks,( look up how they test tusks to see if they are legally allowed to be sold or not) we can date the levels of radiation in the atmosphere and in the remains of bones and wood etc that have lived in the years before Nuclear testing..
Yet another interesting thought experiment. To be fair there are lots of sightings nowhere near any nuke sites, though, maybe some visitors are more vulnerable than others.
That is a super interesting theory. Over the summer I was doing construction jobs and one day I looked up and the roof barely covered the sun, but right beside the sun i could see things flying back and forth across the sun then they would dissappear when they got a few inches past the sun. When I had some more time to myself I would go outside and cover the sun and I don't know what I was seeing, but there was a ton of traffic right outside of the glare of the sun. You couldn't see them for long though as they'd dissappear the further they got from the suns glare.
Perhaps you were seeing your own eye's floaters
This is a common occurrence on bright days when the roof covers the sun, because there are a lot of wind dispersed seeds in the air we normally can’t see but this situation blocks the sun’s glare and we see them as brilliantly lit but the sun and flying around in the wind. I notice it a lot outside my home and have seen this explanation before in this sub.

Our nuclear capabilities are the equivalent of a mosquito bite in comparison to what occurs in nature.

There's different radiations, but my understanding the only "nuclear" reactions are fusion via stars.
Personally I don't think they're that interested specifically in radiation, more just all the crazy stuff us human rights get up to & different natural phenomena on Earth.

I think its a dimensions thing, and radiation crosses that, so if we blow up a nuke in our dimension it fucks with things in theirs.. so they have to keep an eye on us.
Also a possibility that nuclear reactions / explosion have a effect on not just our dimension but parallel dimensions if your open to some of these being intedimensional. Maybe they keeping close tabs on us because it effects them.
I think a problem with this theory is that they've already told various human beings that they're concerned about us using nuclear weapons...so since they've already told us they're concerned let's listen to them!

Sure but you do understand the universe is absolutely chock full if radiation. There's way more radiation in space than there is on earth. So any space faring ships would already have to be blocking out radiation just to get here.
There's radiation and nuclear fission and fusion on every star so these entities must be really uptight
Nuclear weapons sites are high-value spy targets for other countries. So if “everyone knows” that UFOs are seen around them, the overwhelming likelihood is that they are terrestrial spycraft, if people actually observed anything real at all and aren’t engaging in hysteria and tall tales.
If that’s the case, we need to be extremely concerned because most of these objects are moving in such a way as to defy the force effects of both terrestrial gravity and g-force from acceleration; many decades or hundreds of years more scientifically advanced than us.

That's not what they're saying. They are saying UFOs are all over the place, but we only see them near nuclear sites bc the higher radiation in the area f's up their cloaking. UFOs could be other places but with no larger nearby radiation, their cloaking stays intact, do we don't see them.
So they should know by now where not to go to have the cloaking cancelled, right? Advanced enough to make a cloaked flying ship, dumb enough to keep visiting the same places and being seen.

I don’t think so. There’s no radiation around here and still I saw one in ‘95. However it may have some effect on them, that’s possible.
