I promise I've been trying to figure this out on my own! The more I stare at the different typefaces, the more they blur together. The pictures are from two different machines, both silent supers. The one that writes is sapphire grey, the one that doesn't is in alpine blue. Looking at the slugs, I believe they have an identical typeface. Is it Elite 66?
More important than identifying your typeface is cleaning it! 🤣
Looks like they've both got the same foundry marks and are Smith-Corona standard elite No. 66.
