The Columbus shows were on the Clancy Tour, about 4 months before this was recorded. Mark confirmed those shows were not fully filmed, just the Routines live video, as well as audio. The Mexico City shows were a full film production, and also their largest headlining show ever.

FYI, I had to travel to a bigger city (300,000) for the SAI Cinema Experience. There was only 1 cinema, and 1 time. It was only half-full. Previews and extra shows were for a few large cities.

Edit: The 2022 event was played in over 60 countries.

It felt like being at a pilots show where the entire crowd was silent and I also had to be silent. Wasn’t much fun, if I’m being honest.

I think the move will be to go on release night in the Thursday. That's when the "clique" will be there and there's a good chance it becomes a more concert-like experience with fans dressing up and singing along (like Taylor Swifts concert movie). If you catch it a week after release it'll more likely be people "curious as to what this band is about" and will watch it more as a movie.

Some believe that a concert movie is still a movie & you gotta respect theater etiquette after all. I agree with you tho, I'd love to see tbe theater turn into a moshpit.

Rock band The Warning released a concert movie last August and the premier was more of a concert rather than a movie. Some fans loved the idea while many others said they'd be upset if it happened at their theater, so I expect the same dichotomy in the clique.

Definitely did not want people shouting or anything but my theater was eerily quiet that I had to periodically look around to see if there were still others around

I would hope to not hear other people's screaming and singing along with the movie. How i view it, the setting is movie so keeping quiet during a movie makes more sense to me.. Sitting and shimmy to the music makes more sense in a movie setting.
