Every year, Taylor's merch seems to decrease in quality while prices keep going higher and higher. From piss poor and frankly lazy designs to arriving either broken or with obvious manufacturing defects... Taylor's merch store never fails to disappoint! Time to see what Taylor's and UMG's child slav..... I mean hard working and ethically sourced workers have been up to in 2025!

  • The photo on the guitar looks like some printed it on a paper and cut it to fit the guitar 😭

    Ok. WTF. That guitar is a beginner model priced at about $175. Why is it $399 (more than double the price) to have an image screen-printed on it?

    It's not uncommon for musicians to launch a branded guitar/bass but they usually design it together with the guitar manufacturer and there's something special about the instrument not just the way it looks. Yes, they tend to be in the $750-$2,000 range because they're designed by professional musicians for professional musicians.

    This is taking a beginner level guitar and slapping a sticker on it, bringing into the amateur price range. I'm assuming the screen-print/sticker wears off if you actually play it. And it's just the album cover! It's not even a bespoke image designed for the guitar!

    The guitar is the top of the tree. The brush is the bottom right. I thought for sure they’d stop doing the guitars after the way the other eras turned out.

  • The ballet slipper ornament bothers me solely because she’s not a dancer and has had no actual dance training whatsoever let alone ballet specifically, just because she wore them for promo photos for speak now tv she had to sell that in some way of course

    Inside the globe the workers forgot to remove the plastic wrapping from the piano before installing it in the globe causing it to become cloudy and distorted looking

    Normally a battery slot will have one spring side and one flat metal side for the negative and positive ends of the battery to connect. But the middle battery slot has 2 springs and no flat terminal, while the left battery slot appears to have no terminals at all. They won't be able to connect the batteries.
