I like how 'no nonsensical' the local law enforcement spokesman was in the press conference. I've never seen a novelty sign for a list of stolen items before. Their police department must have quite the graphics team.
That is one of the top ten most american things there is. Letting male high school athletes get away with crimes. There was that fat crying rapist last month who got community service for multiple violent rapes because he was on a sports team.
I’ve known a lot of drug addicts in Florida and it was always heroin/opiates, sometimes also crack, but I’ve never known anyone who’s done meth. Is this something you’ve actually experienced, or more or an assumption based on the “Florida Man” meme?
Im not saying it doesn’t exist here, I’m just saying I don’t know if I’d consider it a Florida stereotype, as among the many addicts I’ve known, I’ve never met a single one who uses meth. I was curious if the person I was replying to had a different experience and could provide some insight, or if they were just making an assumption based on a common meme.
Florida can vary pretty drastically from county to county, I don’t know if things are different in other parts of the state.

Coach asked LE to let them off the hook?!?! So no accountability....?!
We don't seem to have an issue letting rich people get away with crimes - especially in FL.
“They’re good kids”
The modern day monguzzo.

Sheriff Grady Judd! (reddit generally hates him lol) From Polk County Florida.

He's pretty famous in Florida. Sheriffs are elected here.
They have a YouTube channel that has tons and tons of these sorts of press conferences.

Disappointed in yall, Philly. Everybody knows. Florida, go on vacation, leave on probation.
Worst part is the Coach asked Law Enforcement to let them off the hook. So much for accountability

Not sure he was even on a team, his dad USED to be a coach or something.
Had it been the home team, maybe. The south is super into their youth sports team.
Where was this in the article? I saw the coach saying they did not condone the theft.

About 30 seconds in
Thank you! I generally don't watch news videos; I'm surprised this didn't make it into the text article...
They're from Philly. Makes sense.
Only Philly could make Florida blush.
One way to get noticed by the Gators, Seminole, and Canes.
I opened the article please don’t be crab legs
Kirby enters the chat...
There’s no mention of any driving related crimes.
Damn
They were just trying out some local culture down at the Florida Meth Gardens

Are you smoking crack? People do meth everywhere, buddy.

r/kidsarefuckingstupid
Imagine having to travel over 1,000 miles one way for a court date.
Idiots.
Instead of just playing football. Crazy
They won’t. I have trouble believing that they will show up even if it’s on zoom. They will have felony bench warrants following them for decades
Even as minors?
Yes the charges will never go away unless they show up to court plead out to non felonies but they won’t
True.
They wont show up thinking that sherrif wont extradited. I bet money he will send a bus with wood seats to pick them up and drive slowly to Florida.
with no seatbelts or snacks either...
Not even a three musketeers?
Lol
"I don't know if these were starters or not, but I can tell you that we were finishers. We arrested them," he said.
I wonder how long he's been sitting on that one
You have to watch the Sheriff's YouTube. He has regular Pressers for anything above a speeding ticket and zings people all the time.
[deleted]
He had 800K followers on tiktok alone, so popular.
Sherriff Grady Judd take on it.
