I just saw that Live More has an opportunity for very discounted PRP, but I'm a little unclear on the actual benefit as a gender treatment. Has anyone done it?

  • It really depends on where the treatment is and the purpose. Both microneedling and PRP have evidence for being effective for hair loss/restoration, although at our clinic, we tend to inject the PRP rather than apply it post needling.

For the face, several sessions of microneedling will improve texture, pore size, and help smooth fine (but not deep) wrinkles. IMO, I'm not sure how much PRP adds to the effect. It's only a gender treatment in so far as females tend to have smoother softer skin, so if that's your goal, it will help with that.

It may be more helpful seeing a good dermal therapist first to see what you need.
