I know thr southern ALP is kinda shit, but as Queenslanders we really need to get Labor back in, ideally with Miles as their leader (most progressive qld leader in a long time)
Yeah you are right, the redeeming factor here is the study that LNP did itself supported puberty blockers. They can show there is no medical basis for the ban and it’s politically motivated.
All of Australia seriously needs to ensure no right wing party gets into power across any state or level. Particularly ensuring One Nation never gets too much power, as they’d definitely attempt to cause division. Especially regarding transgender rights and freedoms, they’ve tried to revoke our rights so many times before.
The fact the LNP’s own report essentially found in favour of providing access to GAC should be evidence enough that it’s political over reach.
