I have a ticket to Toulouse arriving the 26th. The news on France is all about the flood. Should I be worried about Toulouse being affected by this?

How is the temperature feeling, my app says it is 4 degrees, but it feels like 0 degrees due to the chillfactor. Would it be overkill to bring a parka rf jacket?
There are two references to boats, is this a common way to be funny, or are they being a bit cocky or infantile if you like?

What ?? No, there no alert in Toulouse. You know France is quite big actually. It's only in Montpellier that there are floods currently.

I'd say that's a wise choice. Temps are still over zero, hovering around 10ish but wind and humidity are to factor in.

It depends on the day, it may be windy. It's not currently, and while it's cold, it is still ok depending how you're handling cold. I would say a regular jacket would be enough (we're expecting 10+ degrees on Saturday and Sunday).

I'm originally from Toulouse, but I now live in Montpellier, and yes, there have been floods in the area, but don't worry about Toulouse, you shouldn't have any problems apart from the bad weather 🤣

Floods and other hazardous meteo related event are very rare in France, particularly in the high density area. Some often happens in remote rural area where the budget is low.

Don't worry we are not like US where they keep building wooden houses while hurricane are known to happen lol. We adapt infrastructure to the risks
