That’s exactly what I was thinking. That one move where he’s contorting his body while his head remains on the floor is something straight out of breakdancing.
A Kata demonstrates skills and choreographed fight moves that incorporate fight strategies (e.g. kata for in-fighting strategy, kata for working angles, kata for defense, offense etc. From a practitioner perspective it strengthens their legs, increases flexibility, improves balance, and develops proprioception / body awareness.
There’s no reason to do the splits in a fight but being able to, as demonstrated in the kata, means better range of motion and in turn better kicks and more freedom in grappling (easier to get out of submissions and harder to submit).
Someone with these skills could easily render most of the population unable to continue a fight after a few head or body strikes.
Just because routines and poses are passed down as tradition and practices for skill/show, that doesn't mean it can't be stripped back to "practically" knock someone out.
Whenever there is a clip of some impressive martial arts, it's obligatory to have a "yeah, but how will it do against the man on the street who can't fight for shit eh?"
Vibes very similar to Olympic athlete training camps, which also feel kinda icky to me. I get that you need to get them young to push people to pinnacle of what the human body can do but i always feel like they are being robbed of a normal childhood.
When the kiddo dropped on his ball sack: Yeah, title checks out.
You know there is an "iron ball sack" kongfu as well. When you master it, your balls can crack the bat hitting at them.
And by master it, you mean getting hit in the balls repeatedly until they go numb.
What a callus he has on his forehead, I guess
And his ball sack
It blew my mind when I found out that was done with someone standing/strapped behind David and sticking his arm around. Michael Moschen is his name.
“I’m seventies David Bowie”
this kid could be the dopest breakdancer, holy

Or drag queen. That's an amazing death drop.
I’m curious- What’s his diet like?
Minimal
WTF
I reflexively cringed when he frontflipped onto his head. Saw too many head injury videos on reddit.
Sincere question: doesnt that hurt his balls?
He could land and lower himself wrong but hes cushioning impact away from balls. It just happens really fast.
And the video looks to be ever so slightly sped up.

I think I tore something from watching that
If I remember right, they learned this from Steven Seagal.

You know it's a cult, right...right?
R.I.P balls
No childhood here.....
Yeah....I'm sure he would be better off sitting around playing Roblox.🤨
Well, if you are just going to list the worst extreme, this conversation is over.
Why is it unreasonable?
Yeah, I’d say it’s more unnecessarily hard
"So then we moved to Shaolin land/ A young youth, yo rockin' the gold tooth"
Worst student in the dojo.
I feel like these guys could just dominate the Olympics
Bet bedtime sucks with this kid.
That's the reason they're leading globally in a lot of aspects. Nothing easy ever becomes great.
Spider-Man or miles morales 👀
My back hurts from watching this.
This kid is what AI wish it was.
Look how cpc protects their posturing clips, manipulated comments section

He’s performing a Kata.

Probably didn't need the /s
He doesnt look so happy
My mom couldn't afford to out me in a band in school, so I had to take choir because you only had to buy a shirt. Wonder what this costs.
It costs having a reasonably normal childhood.
Approx 5-7,5K a year. Depending on payment program.
If I didn't know better, I would think this is AI. This is nuts.
The type of shit Ben Azoulay claims he did
It's bad for the kid
Better than being a high fructose corn syrup drinking, cheeseburger munching obese American kid on an ipad
Whataboutism as usual
It's the 155323565443334 times it's reposted and it was always removed but hey cpc bots loves to force feed WeChat videos to the west.
Why? You think they take any kid and force them to do this? This kid is more than likely being developed because of his own inclination.
Why not. What else they gotta do.
