I’ll never forget being ~11 and a more experienced player teaching me the formula for cog health, and the yellow/combo damage. It was eye opening to me to be able to know if I would take out every cog or not, and also turned the game into more of a mathematical experience for me/made me better at mental math.
Stuff like that makes me realize the importance of helping teach others the same now that I’m older! I think I’m probably better at mental math because I learned that, and it made me better at the game!
Cog health in Toontown Rewritten (at least for levels 1-12) is always their following formula: (n + 1)(n +2) = HP where n is the cog’s level. So a level 1 cog has (2)(3) =6HP
A level 10 has (11)(12) =132HP
For a long time, all cog’s followed that rule except for level 12s, which had 200 health even. Now, level 12s followed that rule, and for level 13 and up, I believe the formula is similar, but you add another constant number to it, I’d have to look it up.
For damage bonuses (the yellow damage that gets added) it is always 1/5 of the total gag damage, not including kickback from lure. So a Cake + creampie together do 140 damage, the yellow damage would be (1/5)(140) = 28
Hoooooo boy. If I see a new toon on a first time for anything, I will literally info dump everything there is to know about whatever they're learning about step by step. I love this game so much and love making it enjoyable for others as well

It is wild to me, we are playing a game made 20 years ago, Disney game, for kids (not shaming).
Yet we have toons that are perks still. Like, it is just sad.
