It bothered me enough to form a negative opinion. He became the antagonist in this video and the protagonist kind of won even while being dead and covered with fresh produce.
My brother does a perfect Fire Marshall Bill Burns, which was extra hilarious because my dad’s name was Bill Burns. Every time he does it I laugh til I cry.
I think you can see a little smoke come off the first bottle when he throws it on the pan. So I think the bottle would have been a little singed / melted... Dude is unhinged
If you look at the first half second of the video, there is a very similar flash of white before he puts anything in. I also don't see anything actually go beyond the rim of the wok. Again, I'm pretty sure it is just the reflection of his movements.
That fire could not be safe for him. Was he injured?
This is extremely unfortunate but also very avoidable. People need to learn about mixing hot oil with water. The water boils and spills the oil everywhere. The oil catches fire and spreads the fire as it overflows. Many a university student learning to cook for the first time have started fires this way in their dorms. All fresher's are warned against using water to put out chip pan fires for the same reason.
But in this particular case, there's no reason to use that much oil, no reason to hack open the bottles like that, and no reason to be filming this for internet points. If he had just taken a more pragmatic and utilitarian approach to the cooking, this would not have happened.
There is a longer version of the video where he jumps into the water behind him immediately to put out the flames, and seems to "appear" fine immediately afterwards. Pretty sure he knew it was going to happen, which is why everything was positioned next to the water.
I feel like even if you jump into water immediately that smoking hot oil is going to do some serious damage the second it touches your skin. I’m just remembering putting fish fillets into a hot deep fryer, those things cook instantly.
Idk, I used to know a girl that would put zippo lighter fluid on her arm and light it. She said it wouldn’t start to burn until the fuel burned through. She would put it out before it got to that point. But was cool to watch.
Oil was too hot was the primary reason why this happened, along with this is also why you don't put very wet things like a whole fish into oil like that.

I knew when he started hacking the bottles of oil as opposed to twisting off the cap this wasn’t going to end well.
I thought we were gonna see a finger fly
Mmm... finger fry you say?

To shreds you say?
Well, how is his other finger holding up?
I thought a wave was going to go in the wok.
It bothered me enough to form a negative opinion. He became the antagonist in this video and the protagonist kind of won even while being dead and covered with fresh produce.
Mmm, microplastics!
macroplastics and gaseous-plastics too!
Mmm.. microplastics.

PORK AND BEANS!!
Cod-damn…

Holy Mackerel
Y'all need to snapper out of it.
I eat fried fish just for the halibut.
I’m gonna tuna out of this conversation
Albacore-nee sometimes, but these puns are just bad.
Mm yes, yummy melted plastic as the broth...
There's plenty of things here to pick at, but it's pretty clear the plastic was removed before heating up the oil.
Dunno what video youre watching but that was not pretty clear. I do agree he removed it though
I disagree. I have no reason for this, I just wanna see some beef.
I agree with this guy.
Hey, fuck you bud
You're clearly wrong, though
This just in- hot pans ALSO melt plastic
That pan was not hot (or at least not very hot) when he put that oil in.
I think you can see a little smoke come off the first bottle when he throws it on the pan. So I think the bottle would have been a little singed / melted... Dude is unhinged
I see no smoke. I think what you saw was just the reflection in the metal.

I tried to highlight the little puff and slow it down... Quality is pretty bad but I can see it
If you look at the first half second of the video, there is a very similar flash of white before he puts anything in. I also don't see anything actually go beyond the rim of the wok. Again, I'm pretty sure it is just the reflection of his movements.
I can cook!
Too late, you've already cooked yourself...
He cooked himself
“The cost of success”
Seasoned perfectly too

But how can he karma farm if he doesn’t put himself or others in danger? /s
Thank you Mr. Internet Bot
You're welcome, fellow redditor.

Why is this so crisp
Well done?
They cut the part of the video where he backs up into the water and is unharmed, his social media is dedicated to him cooking this way in Brazil.
Ty I feel a lot better laughing about it knowing I didn't just watch a guy get turned into a well done steak
Did not expect that.
https://i.redd.it/h41olr1j8g6g1.gif
Looks like it got really hot.
Instantly saw where this was going
But was the fish well cooked/edible in the end? That's my main concern.
Bonfire lit
I shouldn’t be laughing
I mean, he did technically cook the fish...he just cooked everything else as well including himself...
I need a follow up
Oil was too hot was the primary reason why this happened, along with this is also why you don't put very wet things like a whole fish into oil like that.
And I bet he threw the bottles out into the water
something great about him speaking so assuredly and calmly lowering the fish to create a towering wall of an inferno
I love blackened fish.

My meme now
Oil too cold!
Could this be ai?
It is, he magics an extra bottle out of thin air.
It was the final AHHHHH that got me 😂
I mean, technically he did cook the fish. He just may have killed himself in the process.
damn autocorrect! you meant “To cook face” right?
"sigan viendo"
Fry fish friday
I’m waiting for the Michael Jackson edit
directed by Michael Bay.
Dude was opening those bottles like
https://preview.redd.it/6fzuf9x1ch6g1.jpeg?width=825&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30517f99b64945260c09696157de515b359818c1
Bro eviscerated himself
The dirt and micro plastics just add flavor
This is what happens when you don't pat down dry your fish before frying it. Causes grease fires.
Dudes life changed after that

How to open a portal to hell: step 1
Ah yes the classic scalding oil dilemma. Philosophers have been studying this question for years
Attempt?! No
The fish was definitely cooked
let me tell you something
He didnt see that coming
Which Diddy Freak Off did this happen at? That is baby oil, yes?
So how did it taste?!
Destined for failure right after he deep fried that plastic
There’s no way this isn’t ragebait. Whatever country this is may have been a few years behind the ragebait, but now they’ve figured it out
damn. bro's cooked.
Yes, I’ll have the combustible carcinogen cod please!
bbbwahhhhh
The second bottle he picks up has already melted to the point it's coming out. This is just stupid.
I think he needed more oil…
What in the hell is this rage-cooking‽
🔥🔥 PAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!! 🔥🔥
I was fully expecting him to throw that fish in. Not him opening the gates to hell.
He was white before learning how to cook.
FATALITY!

Sabring the cooking oil was not on the thing I’d expected to see in this lifetime
He on fire!
I thought he was gonna chop his hand off
Is it wrong for me to laugh?
Translation. IM STUPID AF
Dude wants macro plastics in his food
Ah, Brazil. Never change.
Did we just watch a man die?
“BAHHHHHHHHHH”
Cooked himself.. theres salt water for your wounds. 😂😂😂😂😂
FAHHHHHH
This is AI
Ai?
I know it's AI but still...WTF?
I dont wanna be that guy but is this AI? The water movement and of course the absurdity makes me think that
