Ah yes the notorious punch a kung fu master in the back of the head trick to prove your worth. I use this at job interviews to secure the respect of my possible employers.
"Swapping techniques". Here's a secret technique that is only mastered by very few Nepalese monk warriors from the Yangra mountain temple, it requires unique skills, speed and precision, let me demonstrate the "punch to the back of the head while you show me your back".
I competed in taekwondo at a decent level for a few years and I have never seen anyone do a reverse kick, back kick, or even a roundhouse kick so slowly that you could punch them in the back of the head.
Unless he’s a really old Kung Fu master who does reverse kicks when there’s no time or space to do them.
The kind of person that makes this shit up, is also probably the kind of person who would hit a guy doing the Kick extremely slow in order to show the technique.
Hmm, I've seen punches to the noggin before someone tried to execute a back kick on MMA before, resulting in the kicker being knocked down, grounded, and pounded. Complicated Kicks are awesome when they land but they are higher risk moves.
How I read this story: "I was arguing about a parking spot with an old Asian man outside of a Starbucks in a strip mall and after exchanging insults, he turned around to get back in his car, so I sucker punched him in the back of his head and ran away. (Funny. Lol)"
Big deal, I used to swap techniques with Bruce Lee. He got angry because I was faster than him. I eventually traveled the world seeking someone who would be a worthy kung fu challenger. I did find a monastery in Tibet, but all of the monks were just too slow. I beat them all at the same time with two arms tied behind my back. I remain the fastest kung fu master to have ever existed.
Funny, ufc fighters do it all the time and I’m pretty sure haven’t gotten punched in the back of the head during it even once. But what do they know about martial arts, right?
Oh yeah I bet this happened. In your head! Lol “I bested a kung fu master with a punch to the back of his head” sounds like he watched a movie and pretended he was “that guy” lol
When you're sparring in martial arts, are there not rules? I feel like you're not allowed to punch people in the back of the head. My spouse and my kid do taekwondo and there are only certain parts of the body they're allowed to hit, and when they spar there's a lot of kicking of each other's literal butts, which I find very funny.
eh i dunno i mean there isn't enough detail here. the story is basically: a guy came to train with me and we sparred and he was quicker and faster some times but i surprised him with a move that got through.

Best way to assert dominance
It's so important to show employers that no matter how good you think you are, I can still suddenly punch you in the head.
-The art of war, probably
The only thing better is to punch everyone in the back of the head, all the time, everywhere.
Nobody will mess with you then. Or you’ll end up in jail, which ever comes first .

Watch out, we got a badass over here
Sadass, you mean.

But the post is definitely bs and cringe.

All I hear is Ross from friends saying "I have Oonagi"
How I see Ross after this story is told

"...if we made reservations we could have unagi in about half an hour!"
Came to my house to swap techniques
Wink
Yes, masters come to trade techniques with him. He’s the master of masters.
And he hashtagged "Wing Chun". Wing Chun is notorious for NOT turning your back to your opponent, it's like one of the chief tenets.
He shared the post from a page on his fb profile and added his personal story. The # isn't his.
Ahh. My mistake.

I was waiting for him to describe how we followed that punch with a Hadouken combo.
Ok, so maybe I didn’t punch a kung fu master in the back of the head———but his sister did!
Anyone else think that this guy was probably just walking away and got punched in the back of the head?

That master was Elon Musk.
Can confirm, I was the mat
Lighten up, Francis.
