I joined Facebook for the marketplace. Its next level shit on there. Alot of posts saying Musk will save the world, AI images of EVERYTHING im talking national parks, celebrities, celebrity obituaries,"new" cars, "new" phones. Nothing is real and its all for clicks, Its literally insane. Its elderly abuse at this point
I follow sports stuff on fb sometimes and the algorithm has figured it out apparently, and I get all these fake ass articles like “Jalen Hurts has agreed to pay for Charlie Kirk’s funeral” and shit and people eat it up. The links are always to incredibly and obviously fake “news” sites and people just blindly believe it all. So crazy.
Yeah I almost feel bad that we all fled off Facebook and left the old timers there to sort all the crap out. My parents thankfully don't have social media and just got their first cell phone, but even with them I had to explain that YouTube is social media and not a legitimate new source always... I can only imagine the stuff elders believe on Facebook
There was a short period of time during the DOGE days where all these AI posts kept popping up on my timeline (I clicked on one to read the comments, my bad) about Elon Musk saving kids with cancer and doing other noble acts that he never actually did, and all the boomers who don't understand AI believed it. It's literally brainwashing the elderly because they can't understand the difference between AI and reality.
i’m guessing this is from a Facebook ad or
community and it’s a nonsense imaginary ad. Like a few others here I have no idea what this is or what it’s supposed to be.
Gratitude for having a car? Not complaining about wealth or lack of?

This Mdala did not fucking say that.
Haibo.
Gotlhelele
I have no fucking idea what I just read. I am old but.
While it's Facebook garbage, I guess the message you can take away from it is to not compare yourself to others. Comparison is the thief of joy.
You guess that the intended message is what is spelled out loud in the text?
"Take away from it" as in even a garbage Facebook post can have some meaning.

It's from LinkedIn. I don't know if that makes it worse or better
"It's a new chapter for me book emoji car emoji" he said passionately :P
Then everyone clapped. 👏
