Would add another layer of awful if they set the room to be the temperature of the night the ship sank. Also some sort of tank with water set to the same temp as the Atlantic that night
It’s actually really cool - it was made by someone who was really interested in it and it’s got a lot of stuff to look at. I wasn’t able to take it all in as my partner wasn’t too interested so I only had an hour or so, definitely could have spent longer!
I mean, the 9/11 museum doesn't have the "experience" per se, but has things like "the jumper room" and the whole thing is pretty morbid with a souvenir shop.
I saw a blow-up bounce house at a kid's party in the shape of Titanic once. It was tilted, mid-sinking. The kids were sliding down the side. I had the same thought as you: this is wild to me, having kids reenact the drowning of over 1,000 people, and it's like "wheeee fun"
There is an elevator in NYC covered in screens that show the history of new york as it was being built over time. There's a very obvious appearance and disappearance.
I may be wrong. There is indeed a Titanic experience in London that looks a lot like this. Though I can not find any other videos of this particular scene. If it’s not AI, than I think this is in very poor taste.
Yeah….nah. In 100 years people won’t have eyes, ears or mouths. They will evolve to a point where they only have the sense of touch and smell so that the only thing offensive and shocking is farts.
And look over there! On that railing you can see the banker elites who would have opposed the founding of the federal reserve as a private company in the United States
Sorry for the dumb question but what are the boxes? What am I looking at, is this like a room with projection mapping and benches? So confused! Thanks for any details :)
I agree. The water doesn’t even look remotely real. Theres just a few random pieces of furniture and some big screens showing random cross sections of the boat.

Woo, just reading that made me shiver!
The titanic museum in pigeon forge, Tennessee, has exactly that - you step out onto a deck that has a tank of freezing water you can put your hand in.
I always pass by the museum by now I want to visit it the next time I’m there…

I know a Jerry that would be very interested.
Haha Cape Fear!! I'm doing like in, uh, Cape Fear!
COUNSELOR
Ooo. I don’t like that
Neither did they… 😔
💀💀💀
I get vertigo and this would result in me very much dying
Thanks I hate it 😬
this feels a bit morbid, real people died. Imagine having a 9/11 experience?
Give it a century. I don’t doubt there will be something.
Hijacker POV

I mean we have things like Ring around the Rosie and other rhymes/ songs that are about great loss people use for fun often
Very good point!
That Titanic slide is sick though, best inflatable slide

Morbid, but it is better than just a mural of the names, because this teaches the historical event in a better way than just talking about it.
They literally made United 93 movie in 2006, a mere five years after the events transpired.
I personally think that's a bit different to an attraction ride that's supposed to be fun
Its not supposed to be fun. It is to be a terrific experience.
There’s a coloring book
wtf haha
That’s exactly how I feel!!!! Thank you!
Well, thank god it’s AI.
Actually it’s not you dumbass
I’ve seen that experience, but I have seen this scene absolutely nowhere. This feels like they took that experience and dumped it in AI
I didn't realize it was

I see what you mean though it does look a bit AI
Needs more bodies.
Where’s the floating door bruh?
outside.
*Wall trim
LOL. I don’t know why this is so funny to me, like this was a tragedy and now it’s an “experience.”
It's crazy to think about how this tragedy is still a source of entertainment today. Will they do the same to 9/11 in 100 years ?
Oh, way less than 100 years….
Yeah….nah. In 100 years people won’t have eyes, ears or mouths. They will evolve to a point where they only have the sense of touch and smell so that the only thing offensive and shocking is farts.
Instead of stupid music play sounds of screams and stuff breaking.
This literally triggered my gag reflex and gave me goosebumps lol
How do people actually experience this? Is it through a VR headset or what?
It’s through multiple projectors.
😲😲 very cool and sad at the same time
What is that ? Something jumped from the stairs to the table in the front middle?? 😮 am i seeing thing 😝
It’s a monkey?
This is awesome! When does the 9/11 twin towers exhibit come out? I can't wait to watch that reenactment!
Will the George Floyd exhibit be next? Or maybe the Charlie Kirk one?
It sickens me that someone even had the nerve of conceiving the idea of something so horrific. People will pay to watch anything, and it's disgusting.
People really lost any sense of piety and morals haven't they.
What’s next, the Belsen experience?
And look over there! On that railing you can see the banker elites who would have opposed the founding of the federal reserve as a private company in the United States
Do you get the big sink and the break up as well? That would be terrifying 🤯🥴💀
Is this real ?
Define ’real’
I am not hallucinating !
No thanks
I immediately thought of Uncharted 3 and how brilliant that sequence played.
Hey look a flying exit sign
The emergency exit illuminated over the exit door helps break the immersion. Good projection work.
Yeah, this got me.
Yea, pretty ghoulish. Experiencing the last, final horrific moments of peoples lives.
The WHAT
Is Celine Dion singing? If not then no go
Can we get over this fuckin ship?
I went the other day it was TERRIFYING , the first vr thing is much scarier than this room
This seems……… offensive? Idk… like the tragedy wasn’t a ride to be taken or something… Just my initial thoughts.
No thanks.
Sorry for the dumb question but what are the boxes? What am I looking at, is this like a room with projection mapping and benches? So confused! Thanks for any details :)
NO!!!! Please don't tell me someone thought that would make a great "experience"!!!! Just nope, nope, nope!!!
Oh, hell no!
Nope, nope, nope
People use words like “terrifying” on the most mundane bullshit CONSTANTLY on this subreddit…
Kinda like people have different opinions about what's terryfying for them, crazy isn't it?
i'm not even thalassophobic and this is honestly pretty scary to me
Oh God, can you imagine a world where people use the word terrifying in a subreddit that's about a widely understood phobia? The horror...
This looks pretty tame tbh
