I mean I have hitsounds on and can time a det to hit more than 2 people. I got him, his buddy, the engy fixing the dispenser they're using, the soldier running through, and the medic healing them.

I'm afraid not - Detonator had "+50% damage to self" stat, so it will probably deal more
This is mostly out of my ass but I'm fairly sure self damage is around 50% less, soldier's rockets do 90 base damage but does ~48 to himself so if this applies to pyro it means the damage will be halved then +50% so it should be around 25% less damage now
The reason rockets do that is because Soldier has a hidden innate 40% resistance to self inflicted explosive damage, while in the air. Not because of self damage working that way, to my knowledge.
If the Detonator now properly increases self-damage, there's a chance that might mean it lets you jump with more force, since damage and knockback are pretty tightly bound together in TF2. Keyword is might. I would at least hope so, to avoid this becoming an unintentional nerf.

No changes, this was the 1st thing I tested in game. This will however let you det jump while ubered now, which was not possible when you were being ubered by the quick fix.

Just behind the scenes stuff for modding that previously wasn't working with the detonator. For example, if you were in a randomizer server, Gunboats would not work with Detonator.

Makes it so uber doesn't interfere with det jumping. That's really it.
I haven't tested it yet, but to my knowledge the only useful thing this could do is make it so you could jump with it while being quick fix ubered (something you cant do or at least couldn't if this update fixed that)

I was devastated when I learned that war paints can't be applied to the Eureka Effect too. Like, I am an engie main and use it all the time. War paints seem disappointingly limited in general.

edit: I’m dumb, they count as “melee kills” now. Explosion kills now just give charge back with the Booties, Splendid Screen, or Tide Turner. Decent change, but my illiteracy got my hopes far too up.
The explosion is combined melee/blast damage now, so the vaccinator still shields it correctly.

content wise it’s exactly what you’d expect, tons of hats that look like hats we already have, some ok reference sets (final comic scout, new vegas pyro) and maps made by the same team.

If they ever add reskins for the other mediguns I hope they make the beam particles more different from each other do you can still tell which one the medic is using. For example make the Kritz beam to have electricity sparkles (kinda like the ray gun beam from Ghost Busters)
