Isn't this a relatively complex meme? Referencing not only the petty and inaccurate vindictiveness of those who feel the need to create false narratives about women having it easy ("men work hard, women are given money for nothing"). But also skewering the failed dreams and broken promises of social media content creation being a valid career and 'easy money.'
Struck me as one of those 'everyone's stupid' memes.
Mommy vloggers have always been horrible. Having a few videos or pictures of your kids is fine but when it’s everything and you are using your kid as a prop to make money it’s bad.
Most kids who do have vlogger parents wish the parents would put the camera’s down and be able to talk to them without having to worry about every second of their personal life going online and be able to just talk to their parents normally or have the parents act normal.
I even remember a few years back there was a video showing a vlogger mom with her kid who had to put their dog down. The mom was coaching the kid the best way to cry and act for the video. At one point the mom says and make sure to be crying when I’m recording. And the kid responded saying but I am already crying.
u/redditboy123451, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...
Okay but posting your child for content objectively sucks though
Both things can be true: this is a terrible meme and using your kids for content is icky.
It's called exploitation
It’s so gross. It’s beyond using your kids to score popularity points on Insta/FB.
Yeah 76 dollars a month does suck
Exactly, that is why I believe this is worse than the OF jealous people
Yea OF is a respectable line of work. I can't fuckimg STAND family channels. They honestly shouldn't be legal
lol respectable
really fucking stretching the definition of respectable here
It's not any less respectable than any other online entertainer.
You think someone is jealous of $76/month? I think you missed the joke.

They suck, but they’re not the reason income differences exist
Though I assume it meant like 76k, because 76 a month is a bit below the international poverty line
Does the originator think $76 a months is a lot of money? Are they 5 years old?
It feels like OP is the one who missed that it was a joke.
I mean, a majority of people who watch that content is either a child themselves or a mother.
Odds are actually very likely that OOP is a child.
There are more than a few college aged adults who watch SpongeBob
I was referring to the mom influencers.
Gets gets
Didn't even notice that
$76...a month?
Kinda weak considering side like youtube only let you withdraw if its over 100 a month
$76 a month , that's filthy rich
Damn, minimum wage grind vs. mommy vlog cash? Unfair as hell.

With the title and the caption of the meme, I originally read this as if some mom was running their daughter’s OF and I got immediately grossed out
That's such a sweet moment—kids are brutally honest, but it hits different when it's your own.
Unlike OF users, family content faces quite little social stigma and it remains very advertiser friendly.
People (as a collective) are more less likely to make negative remarks about your character as a mommy vlogger then an OF user

what kind of job do you have when $76 a month seems like the motherlode. pun intended
They keep creating more of the monsters they complain about🙄
Cry more. Maybe advocate for better social systems instead of hating on moms making $76 in a month...
