• I'm glad to hear that Emilia could have a great project & performance with this, and Patrick Fabian being in this got even more of my attention too.

It also sounds like there are elements of this that might feel reminiscent of The Americans

another review said that tonally it's like a combo of the americans and burn notice

I just worked with Patrick Fabian last month and not only is he a great actor, but he’s a goddamn delight of a human being. When he finished shooting his stuff, he gave a thank you speech to the crew (rare) and got a standing ovation back from the crew (even rarer).

  • "Meanwhile, Ray's wife, Cheryl, played by Vic Michaelis, is a scene-stealer."

    Okay. I'm sold. Love them.

That’s really exciting to hear, she is fantastic on Very Important People, and all things Dropout.

Any CBB episode with them in it is an instant listen

This coincides with them being on this season of Dimension 20 (not an accident I'm sure) and I'm ready for the Vehicular takeover.

    President of Dropout

Ok, I was interested in seeing this show, but now I am flat out going out of my way to watch it legally

The Victator continues their quest for dominance of entertainment.

This show is going to be a must watch for me, thanks to Emilia and Vic.

    Hell yeah Vehicular!

  • The trailer for this did make me chuckle a few times. I do want to watch. Hopefully it comes out on something mainstream in Canada.
I'll have to wait till it fully airs if its only on StackTV addon on amazon

Looks like it's gonna be on Showcase up here.

That used to be on crave right? But not anymore?
I don't have satellite or cable TV. I have like 5 different streaming services and thats expensive enough as is lol

According to techradar.com (whoever they are) it will be on Showcase in Canada. Which is only mildly encouraging because my PVR and Showcase don't seem to get along.

  • I'm actually happy for Emilia Clarke, she's had a ROUGH run since Game of Thrones. Some really poor films and shows, even if they weren't on her performance most of the time. Glad to see this is reviewing well.

Emilia has so much range, and yet these studios keep hiring her to play different versions of Daenerys.

Super excited she finally got her big W with this show.

  • I'll watch anything muh queen is in

  • Good and maybe Emila is has a better agent, that isn't trying to get here in different versions. Of a queen or leader, she has so much range and seems so genuine. Glad to see her in something that looks like she might be able to shine

  • Anyone can be a movie/tv reviewer at this point.

  • I hope this isn't off topic and I love Emilia Clarke but I'd completely forgot about her after GOT. I just looked at her Wikipedia and she hasn't done too much after it ended (especially anything memorable) - is this due to personal choice or has the industry just given her very few chances?

I hope she does well anyway.

She did Terminator, Star Wars, MCU in that order, with a bunch of smaller films in between.

Regardless of how the audience reacted, those are definitely pretty big roles to have.

She also had some serious medical issues that affected her brain. I'm happy for her that she's still able to act after what she went through.

She gets consistent work it seems, but the projects are all duds

Just she's had shit luck because Terminator Genisys, Solo and Secret Wars are easily the worst things each of those franchises have put out.

It's not even her, I think she's been good in what's she's been given to work with, just what she's been given has been terrible.

Rise of Skywalker was the worst thing to come out of Star Wars, but I get your point.

I raise you Attack of the Clones

Attack of the Clones inches just above Rise, if only for the fact that it committed to it's decisions. The amount of fakeouts in Rise was unacceptable.

Star Wars has done plenty worse than Solo, Solo wasn't bad at all.

Solo was the best star wars Disney put out in theater, just no one watched it

Rogue One was better, but yeah, Solo was much better than I expected it to be.

Terminator & Star Wars were both while Game of Thrones was still on.

Secret Invasion is her only big post-GoT role.

She's also in Amazon Prime series Criminal, it was supposed to be released previous year but was delayed for some reason.

When tv actors headline stage, it’s a choice that should mean more than it does to tv viewers.

  • I’ll reserve my judgement for when it’s actually available for streaming. It’s not even out yet.

Yeah, reviews come out before a thing is released to entice people to watch, that's how it works. You make it sound like a review coming out the day before a show is released is weird.

Yeah, it’s pretty much propaganda. I want to know what viewers think, not what the influencers are paid to say.

Ya I hate those influencers like Roger Ebert back in the day.

Tania is neither Siskel or Ebert. 🤣
