What's gross about this... this was always David's plan... it was all a long slow con to get her assets to him.
He entered into the relationship with nothing, whatever job he purported to have early in the season disappeared quickly. Free room and board for a decade, he's living on a $65,000 houseboat she gave him. The motorcycles, guns and tools for his "blacksmith" job he could pawn for a decent wage.
They're still sorting it out, but she full on gave him $30k in cash as part of the last divorce hearing, he's entitled to a BMW she has custody of.
I think his ultimate plan was to get custody of Ensley and in an Andrew/Amber plan get $650/week in alimony that Andrew gets. That way he sorta had a "job" for 18 years.
