whenever people talk about "dead eyes" i usually never see it, except on jenelle. She has that 'lights on, nobodies home' look. Both photos of these two men have normal eyes. Nothing dead or sad or bleak about them. If i saw them on the street as a stranger I would shoot them a smile.
lol it’s sad seeing the type of people on Reddit. I accidentally found Reddit last year looking for a restaurant. I don’t use social media other than this, but I am aghast at how disgusting a lot of it is
Don’t ever turn off the NSFW filter…a lot of Reddit is porn and weird porn at that. Trying to search for this sub will bring up a lot of other subs and it’s fucking gross
Yeah. Reality TV subs are some of the worst. If you're not trashing the cast, you don't belong. I still enjoy the discussion typically, I just know I'm unpopular here.
Cat subs, eye bleach, and lots of wholesome subs tho. So many cat subs are so great, if you're a cat person.
I enjoyed TM2 as a kid as I’m also class of 2010. So idk? It’s nostalgic for me to keep up with them and rewatch, but it’s not my brand of life. Yk? We don’t snark in our home so this is all nuts to me, personally.
We have a dog but we used to have a cat! I’ve found only reality tv subs and stay for the info about the casts now life but the snarking is so low sometimes, like wow. That’s how people talk to and about other humans beings.
Although, when I was a kid, you didn’t talk like that to anyone because they’d bust your mouth. Miss those days. Everyone is confident behind a screen anymore
I'm in in seeing the society where people don't grow up being fearful of violence. It's good, but also, causes much carelessness. I see stuff now that you'd think you'd never see because, you're right, as a kid if you did that, you'd get knocked tf out!
SD is always triggered by environmental/trauma. It’s a gene that is basically switched on. You can have the gene marker and never experience trauma so it won’t activate. People with SD always have hellish childhood stories to tell
That's not true. I even know someone for which that is the case. No trauma and they developed schizophrenia in their early 20s. Trauma can SOMETIMES trigger a psychotic event but not ALWAYS.
Interesting. It shows how out of the loop I am. Says he's schizophrenic. Which would fit the dead eyes. I usually assume childhood trauma or adult drug use, usually the former. Other mental health probably applies.
I just haven't watched the news this week, nor do I use other social media. I do try to stay informed about things that matter. A celebrity death doesn't impact my life in any way. Multiple masses found during mammogram does. Guess I've been a bit preoccupied. 🤷♀️
You said you deleted social media so I just sort of assumed you went out of your way to look something specific about teen mom up—my apologies for assuming/not realizing everyone’s not as obsessed as I am (bc that’s some shit I would do even if I were brave enough to try a social media break lol). I really did mean it as a lighthearted joke and a genuine compliment you! I’m sorry I didn’t think about the way it came off. We’re all addicted to our phones and at the end of the day most of it really is bullshit that doesn’t matter. I admire people who are intentional about it and hope I can be more like that sometime soon.
This is a sad post that I don't think his parents would have wanted. Nick is mentally unwell, Ryan is just an asshole.

OMG!
He looks related to pine cone
Was that second photo taken on a 2001 Apple desktop and transferred from a floppy disk ahhh quality
Possibly
Do you live in a country where they allow low access to the internet? Or from the dozens of photos available, this is the one you chose?
I’m at work and only had a minute while I was in the bathroom. It was the first “young” pic I found of him.
Yes. Immediately had the same thought.
So the Ryan love has finally died down?
This is the nastiest post.
Nick is schizophrenic, which is triggered by childhood trauma… hence, the eyes.
You comparing Ryan to Nick is gross. This post didn’t do what you thought. Note the engagement.
Go ahead & delete
Schizophrenia is also triggered by extensive drug use.
Saying they resemble each other is nasty? Are you unfamiliar with this sub 🙄
They knew what they were doing. Try again.
Who’s they? They look alike which you seem to have a problem with.
THEY is you OP. Don’t play dumb
You're not going to win on here trying to talk with compassion and logic.

Never! Always on

Oh, I bet the dog subs are chill too!

Schizophrenia is usually a genetic predisposition with an environmental trigger. Typically drugs.
I know this. It is not always drugs. It is also…childhood trauma.
We studied the 9 in psych 101. It is intense trauma that triggers it.
That’s why I said typically. Childhood trauma doesn’t “cause” schizophrenia.
It’s generic. A switch is flipped with the trauma though. That’s exactly how it works.
Usually r*pe. Child SA or physical abuse.
Not always though. Plenty of people have mental health problems having never had trauma.

Jesus christ, you are being so willfully ignorant with your 101 knowledge. You were wrong. Just admit it and move on.

My good friend’s mom developed schizophrenia in her early 30s. Nothing triggered it. Just genetics.
And here's a source: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/schizophrenia
Yes trauma can be the trigger but doesn’t paint a full picture of the cause.
Nick Reiner definitely had Sanpaku eyes
I was expecting the second picture to be Jenelle honestly
They’re both addicts. After a while of doing drugs your eyes do weird things.
I dunno who the first guy is, but it's not the same dead eyes, in my opinion. It's just a distant stare, intentional vels dead eyes
Nick Reiner, son of famous director Rob Reiner. Murdered his parents last week.
Interesting. It shows how out of the loop I am. Says he's schizophrenic. Which would fit the dead eyes. I usually assume childhood trauma or adult drug use, usually the former. Other mental health probably applies.
Are you saying you literally didn’t know Rob Reiner was murdered by his son last week?
the way i'm jealous of the rock they're under!!!!
Deleting social media is the first step!

All the more power to you, genuinely.
and I admire the continued commitment to teen mom lore still lol 💖
My apologies! I accept your admiration!
oh no wait I was being genuine though!! 😭😭😭

Well then I take it back! My apologies! The snark on this sub gets under my skin sometimes as you can tell.
You're right, I am addicted to my phone. Deleting Facebook was the best thing I ever did. It's the only one I was on.
I am.
I've been preoccupied with my own life I guess.
I agree, no emotional depth.
